First game of their season, they win by 31 and because you didnt cover they shouldnt be #9?

no they shoulda scored more. i halfway didnt expect them to cover but had they gotten 89 points i woulda at least split tonight... way too many turnovers and missed shots

You should read the article that Rivals had in the pre-season about Duke being overrated.

The guy said that Duke is ranked 9th because of their name, which is 100% accurate. He said they should be ranked around 15-17th.

So many Duke fans think they have a solid team, but I can't wait for my Tar Heels to whip the shit out of them all over the court this year. Honestly, from what I saw today, Duke should be about 12-13 point UNDERDOGS at home against us, that's how confident in beating them sorry bastards.

Duke is a good team but how can you lay big numbers in hoops? Do you know when Coach K calls off the dogs and when he lets the bench get minutes? This was a tune up game and Duke was probably playing at about 75%....I just cant see laying a huge # like that when they arent going to go all out.

Duke will be exposed this year. They have absolutely nothing down low. They're not quick or fast, so any team with size and speed are going to beat up on them. Going to be a tough year for the Dukies IMO.

I can't wait until Feb 11th, but the December 3rd game outside at Ford Field against MSU will be a dandy!

look at years past... dook has annihilated competition early on... like i said, i thought this was a spllit at worst, with dook breaking 90 and with a good chance of going 2-0... of course they have near 20 turnovers and cold streaks and they cant break 80, fucking douchebags

Good luck this year! These high (top 10) teams at home early in the season against pipsqueak teams never seem to cover ATS in games. I have found that betting 1st half (and its usually half of the game +4 pts or so more), has worked well for me in year's past. (Duke covered the 20.5 1st half today).

Dont beat yourself too bad. Will be looking for your post(s) tomorrow and probably betting right along with ya.....

Great point also with these early tournaments being played beware of the large chalk in the first few rounds.

Most of these tournaments call for playing on back to back games so coaches are a little quicker on emptying the bench so starters get more rest.

I'm more pissed about the over not coming in than dook not covering. i figured they might not. it was taking a shot at 2-0 and figuring 1-1 was the most likely outcome. but unfortunately, dook couldn't score as they should have and it ended up 0-2.
