You have "Selection Saturday" then you have "Fade Me Saturday"
This is the latter. I have let you guys down and myself down the past two nights. If I could take it all back I would. Books got nailed again tonight. Here's my selections. All the lines are off enough for me to consider them relatively strong. I am looking to go 5-1 at the very least. Looking to go 6-0 but less than 5-1 WILL BE A FAILURE.

Saturday 6-Pack

Nebraska +5.5 (LOSS)
Nevada-Reno -5.5 (LOSS)
Georgia -2 (LOSS)
South Carolina +7.5 ***WINNER***
Miami -3 (-120) (LOSS)
Colorado +14 (-105) ***WINNER***

All to make $200, juice othe than 10% is noted. Good Luck fellas on Fade Me Saturday. On a serious note, I feel very strong. I am looking to roll into Miami and Colorado at 3-1 or 4-0. If I stand at these marks then Miami/Colorado will be a parlay and tease as well. Looking to tease Nebraska +12 with all other teams. That looks to be my strongest play. It would look like this:

6.5 Point Teasers
Neb +12/Miami +3
Neb +12/Col +20.5
Neb +12/SoCar +13.5
Neb +12/Nev +1
Neb +12/UGA +4.5

Possible Cross-middle teasers with:
Miami +3/VaTech +7,
UGA +4.5/Fla +8.5

Rock Island Teasers at 6:1 Odds:
Nebraska -1.5 and Miami -9 (100/600)
UGA -8 and Col +8 (100/600)
All to make $100
These will depend on line movement.

I called the bookie

I called the bookie

and I'm cashing out and calling it quits after one last play. This one is special. This one means a lot to me. This one is based on an angle that I have been working on all my life. This is my going out game. My retirement game. I have to get out of this industry. I have to get out now while I am on top. I have to get out before it's completely ruined by offshore sportsbooks and $25/Game bettors. Sharps haven't a prayer in the future of sport's wagering. Books would rather pay 1,000,000 $25 Bettors on an overpriced favorite than pay 20 $3,300 bettors. Lines are dangerously computerized. It's becoming the bettor versus the computer as Oddsmakers are relying more and more on computer rankings to formulate numbers. It's impossible to beat technology. The Oddsmakers are literally typing in the two teams that are playing and getting the numbers based on power rankings. It's hard to find an angle that can't be cracked by their computers. So here it is fellas. My last HURRAH, my going out of business sale. My retirement package. This is a 60 Percoset Play. It's a 25 Oxycontin Play, it's a 50 Vicodin ES play. This is a play where you don't just swallow the pill. You grind the pills up and you snort them. You mix them with alcohol. You party like it's your last day on earth. This is one of the last plays where it's My Psychology versus the Oddsmakers Psychology. This is a bone-on-bone Herniated Disc Play. This is a Grinding of Nerves damaged ligament play. This is the Disgruntled Lunatic Shooting the Lawyer play and I'm the disgruntled lunatic. This play is:

PENN STATE +7.5 WINNER

Risking a lot of money to win a lot of money.
This is my final play after this I call it quits after nearly 22 years. It's time to get out of an industry that shows no respect to seniority, to the old school approach, the man versus man. It's man versus technology, Joe versus the Volcano, Chromozones versus Computers. This Angle is the stringest angle I have ever played. It's Big 10 specific. It goes back to the Big 8. It is powerful. It plays against the Pyschology of the ridculously small number Ohio State is laying. If Ohio State were a DD Favorite this wouldn't be a play because it would make more sense. This is the way I wan't to go out. Good Luck to all of you in your future endevours. It's an uphill battle. I enjoyed my time here immensely. I will check back from time to time and keep you up-to-date on the fall of our industry and the influence of the Indian Casinos and their can't win odds.

Thanks for the encouragement

Thanks for the encouragement

It's breath of fresh air to see a lot of you guys working your asses off to be successful at this game. It's a slap in the face when we come across people that take what we do lightly. There is a big downfall in this industry and I attribute it to Oddsmakers efforts to single out the real handicappers and pay the guys that pick up a newspaper and say "they're gonna kill em" regarding an over-priced favorite and they put a whopping 100 on the game. The oldschool guys that work their behinds off creating angles and seeking the upperhand through hours of work, like this guy Nolan Dalla, that I don't know other than hearing about his work on Stu Unger's book. But you can see how much work this guy puts in and how much valid and credible info he brings to the table each week only to see the over-priced Public Bunnies thwart all his hard work. The oddsmakers a seeking to put guys like us out of business for good.

I know

I know

a lot of Purists are on Penn State. The oldschool approach guys. If this Public Bunny OSU, slammed hard by nearly 9 out of 10 bettors with minimal line movement hits everything I just spoke of is validated. Good Luck fellas. I will be devoting all of time to horses at Aqueduct.

yep

yep

This is my first time playing PSU and I'm playing them based on two angles. One is a Big Ten specific angle and the other is Penn State Specific.

7-7 after 1 Quarter. PSU won the first quarter now they have to put 3 more together. It sounds easy doesn't it??

14-7 PSU

14-7 PSU

Makes this 21.5-7 Lions let's hold on and give Mick and Joe Pa, two oldschoolers to whom everyone claims the game is passing us by, a win.

Hey Mick, I hear where you are coming from, when I first started doing this 25 years ago I got killed most of the time. Yeah I was Joe Public. Forget about all the chit I learned in between, but right now nothing makes sense. Joe Public is killing the man and me. Everytime I think things are changing it just gets worse. Only thing I can think of is the books are setting a bunch of Joes up for the kill. Let a guy win a year and you have him addicted for life. They know they will get 10X their money back later. Unfortunately they may break me in the meantime.
Best of luck to you.

I have looked at that potential theory

I have looked at that potential theory

The set up theory because with all the off-shore books and Indian Casinos with their 40 Deck Black Jack and Slot Machines the Sportsbooks in Vegas along with Locals have taken a hit. Whatever Vegas does it helps the Locals. Neither one can compete with the bonuses and lines the off-shores offer. So this could be a year of the square to make them come back for more. It could be the great set up. But that's what the oddmakers want. They want people that have been doing this for years to keep guessing. My advice to you is stick to what got you here. Look for games on the board that don't comply with computer rankings and get into a one-on-one battle with the oddsmakers like I am doing with the Penn State Game. This line was a call-out line. A non-computer compiled line. It's a challenge that comes few and far between these days but I am learning to find them.

Penn State Looks Fired Up for the 2nd Half

Penn State Looks Fired Up for the 2nd Half

I hope Penn State can hold on for the cover. I think the hook might come into play. PSU will need to score 10 2nd half points to cover and OSU can explode if PSU gets sloppy with the ball,
PSU 17 OSU 14 or PSU 24.5 to 14

Very Good

Very Good

Lions are anwering Buck's score with a strong drive, converting crucial 3rd downs and Buck's are committing personal fouls, let's keep it going. 1st and 10 on OSU 44 /6:06 3rd QTR 17-14

Start of the 4th Q

Start of the 4th Q

PSU still leads 17-14 but OSU opens the 4th with a 3rd and 2 on the PSU 44, so it's 4 down territory. I'm not asking for a victory just a cover. I still feel PSU will have to score a TD in the 4th to cover.

HOME STRETCH FOR LIONS

HOME STRETCH FOR LIONS

Penn State Leads 20-14 w/10 minutes to play in the 4th with the points it's 27.5 - 14. If I can hold onto this play, if PSU can hold on I literally will not have to make another play in NCAA this year because I won't be able to match the profits with this game. On the other hand, if Penn State blows the cover I would have dropped more than half my bankroll and most of my profits from 2003. Not a wise thing to do but the Oddsmakers called me out on this play and I accepted. This will be a huge message that I am sending here. Take your computer lines and stick to them because every time you try to get cute and sneak a game like this by me again I will pound it and you will be paying me large.

Looks like OSU will sneak out of State College

Looks like OSU will sneak out of State College

with a back-door victory if they score here with 2 minutes, barring a serious turn of events PSU should cover easily.
