Bring back Tom Osbourne to coach and be the AD... heck, why not? He did win 3 titles for the Cornvicts in '94, '95, and '97 seasons.
Rumors have really heated up in Texas that Coach Fran has already agreed to a buyout and may be out before then end of the season, and as soon as next week. I dont think this is the rally around this coach type of team and I see some serious let downs in the coming weeks. I would lay off this game, however I dont agree when people say Fade Nebraska, when Aggies are having just as many problems.
WOW, Osborne is back and that means I am officially off this game. Osborne has a magic to him that few have and if anyone can change the huskers game it is him. :00hour
Callahan may fire a coordinator or two, but it wont matter, he is done.
Really it just comes down to it that Callahan is not a good in game coach and that is all. He has had Maurice Purify (who will play at the next level) all year long and yet he wants to play dink and dunk football instead of using his height advantage to go down the field. He has misused many of the players in this way. Keller is another example, he cant make those throws that zac taylor made on the sideline routes, he should be throwing the ball down the field where he can use some of the soft touch passes that he throws. Marlon Lucky should be a change of pace back, like on third down, not an everyday back, he cant take a hit or make anyone miss. The freshman Castille should be playing more, although I think this will happen this week for sure.
But hey I am just happy that Ole Tom is back. Hopefully, he can get Turner Gill back from Buffalo to coach these guys again. Turner knew how to recruit and the guys will play hard for him. :00hour heres to wishful thinking.
