just keep dumping it in, you're bound to recover the puck and score one

you might want to drastically lower your amount wagered per unit. it is early in season and with rule changes, it is probably affecting your handicapping. lower the amount and keep playing to see if you can adjust your methods.

I have always played 1 unit per pick, rarely more - which has worked well - and unless I see something I really like. I will go up to 5 units, if I think the game merits that type of investment. That would have to be a very unusual situation fo me, however.
