I am a homer, but the buzz is fantastic, if we can just get Devonta Freeman sorted out i think we get to SB again, and win. Seriously contemplating throwing a chunk down at 13.5/1...

So early, and i know injuries can kill a team, but it sure seems tasty to me!

My only concern would be the track record of Super Bowl losers has been very poor at least recently. You might do a little research before hammering down this wager although the Royals lost the 2014 WS and then won in 2015, but that is baseball.

There is no "hangover" in Atlanta. I think they are primed, but, I am a homer. Pulling the trigger on it. $500 @ 13.5/1.

If you like that so much, then I would suggest you Hammer the over 9.5 win total for the season...

That doesn't pay 13/1 :0003

9.5 wins? Wow! I would have guessed much higher like 10.5 anyway... I think Atlanta has the pieces in place, but anything can happen on winning a Super Bowl including losing while up 28-3 in the 3rd quarter:facepalm:Sorry, not a cool comment to a Falcons fan, but did happen and this is the hangover effect which might worry me going $500 to win $6750. I would hammer the over 9.5 for sure to offset a potential Super Bowl loss for $1,000 to offset the probable loss. I know they have a couple of my former Chiefs in Jackson and Poe on their DL now and have a great offense IMO.

So. Cal
Things will go south quickly when they lose opening week!

;)

The Super Bowl loser course is real and their division will be tough.

Agreed, lets look at Atlanta:

They didnt just lose the SB. They gave a 25pt margin late in the second half. They wont recover from that. They have been fortunate the last few years in that they havent had much if any injury along the OLine. They had the best Average Points For in the league with 34.1. The year before they had 21.2. This is what you call an anomaly because they have never seen anything close to 30 points with Ryan at the helm. Now they lost their OC and people still think this offense will decimate teams? No chance.

Their TO ratio was +11, good for 4th in the league. Vic Beasley led the league in sacks with 15.5. Again, people are supposed to believe these numbers are achievable again the following year? What goes up must come down. They seem to have improved the defense on paper with the Rookie signings but the game isnt played on paper.

Anyone putting money on this team to win the SB is throwing money away. One winning record in the last 4 years puts them no better than the Saints. The Saints at least put up a great offense year in and year out. I think this Atlanta team will collapse during the season just like they did in the SB.

Okay....as a Saints fan you are obviously not objective, likewise as a Falcons fan nor am i. But living in ATL and being close to the pulse of the team, I can tell you there is no hangover here, only a hunger to finish it this year. The team has improved also on last year. I like my bet, I do like hedging at over 9.5 wins as another person stated.

In any case, good luck this season.
