ATLANTA FALCONS +8.5 - You will not find me on the Vick-less Falcons side very often, but I really feel that they are capable of competing in this game. Atlanta upset the Giants last week on the strength of an excellent two-headed running game, as Duckett and Dunn both inflicted some damage. I expect them to have more success this week vs. a New Orleans defense that is allowing 134.5 rushing yards per game at home this season, including a whopping 5.2 yards per rush over the last 3 games. Any underdog getting more than a touchdown that can run the ball is dangerous, and the Falcons fit these criteria. At the same time, New Orleans has traditionally been a poor home favorite, going just 4-10, 28.6% ATS in this role since 2001! Finally, the Falcons will be looking for revenge, as the Saints embarrassed them 45-17 in Atlanta last month. Look for them to establish the run early this time around, which should result in a much more competitive effort.
