1) taking NY clemons -195 in the showdown.
Clemons pitching...castillo pitching...looks like a no-brainer..i'm willing to lay the chalk today because i have a feeling the red sox are cooked and done. For some reason, the yanks get all pumped up when CLemons pitches..go figure.

4) taking Houston: D Mlicki -145 against milwaukee.
3 unit play

5) taking San Francisco: R Ortiz -1.5 +100

colorado should have a fall out after their series with the dodgers, and SF plays well against colorado at home..and they have to redeem themselves after the fiasco in arizona.

will look closely at the D-BAKS/SD doubleheader using my formula...
this one kinda scares me because arizona might have a let-down after their series with SF, and SD is playing better of late.
I'll have to look at the history this season between these teams...

just to let you all know, i didn't get the teaching position..the school gave it to some scab substitute teacher that had already worked there before...
as I sit here making up new swear words, the positive I can get out of this is that I'm picking up a new car in about 4 hours...
my own 2001 pontiac grand am SE1, v6 engine, fully loaded....and then i'm gonna get loaded tonite and pick a fight in a bar to take out my frustrations...very healthy, i think.

on a bad note, work starts next week, therefore I will be frequenting here less.

watch out for Detroit in game one's of road series...they tend to play well...

but the Jays HAVE had good games against Detroit over the last two years at home...Personally, i'm off this game...but i would lean to Toronto due to home factor, and TOronto's great record in game one's after a loss from the last series.

1) NY : WON
2) HOUSTON: WON (+3.00 UNITS)
(a miracle, but we'll take it..)
3) OAK -1.5 : WON
4) CHIC/CLEV Over 10 :WON
5) SF -1.5 : LOST
6) ARIZ/SD UNDER 8.5 GAME 1 : WON

well, what can I say...? the double header theory was a great success again...I think Gravy's keot track of my doubleheader record where you bet the loser in game two.
I think it's like 7-2 since July...??

today: 5-1 (+6.00 UNITS)

good job for me...

BTW: the closest I came to getting into a fight tonite, was when i was at a lounge/club around adelaide and richmond and some guy bumped into me on the dance floor...i "knudged" him back and when he turned around and saw me at 6'1 and he was a scrawny 5'7, he apologized....
too bad...
