I'm watching this show on repeats and this must be the funniest show I have ever seen:brows: :lol:

this BY FAR........was the funniest show ever put on TV......absolutely hilarious.........and people say Seinfeld was funny......FAMILY GUY blows that show away.....talk about laughing your ass off......it's impossible to eat during that show.....will throw up your food if ya do.

As to why it was cancelled........the writers just kept pushing and pushing "the envelope" and refused to budge.....FOX pulled the plug........not because of ratings......but because of the division between the show and the network...........and when that happens.......guess who wins......the network.......too bad really.......that show was freaking hilarious

Yes it is the funnies show on TV in my opinion. It's still on at 10:00 p.m. central on Cartoon Network, monday through Thursday.

Loved this show. I think it made its debut after a Super Bowl, didn't it? It certainly pushed the envelope, that's for sure.

My favorite memory of the show didn't even include me watching it. My sister and her 7-year old son were visiting, and he was watching TV while I was playing around on the computer, not realizing that what he was watching was The Family Guy. All of the sudden he walks over to me and asks, "Uncle Brandon, what's a Cleveland Steamer?"

Quick thinking, I told him it was a minor league baseball team. Gotta love kids....

I love the show, too, but to say the cancellation had nothing to do with ratings is false. The show got poor ratings, was moved several times in an effort to improve its ratings and then was slated as a midseason replacement but never got on the air during its last season (I think that was 2000-2001 but I could be a year off). Saying it was cancelled for risque content makes no sense anyway because Fox shows crap like Paradise Hotel, Temptation Island, When Animals Attack, etc.

Stewey is just a riot. But Peter has some classic lines as well. "Hello, China. I have Tibet. That's right.... ALL the tea." LMFAO at that one. Good luck all.
