am not surprised by this story.we stayed at caesar's last summer & found the hotel run down, the rooms dirty, & the staff horrible. don't understand why people like this hotel so much.

Kid puts used contraceptive in her mouth

A HORRIFIED family are suing a luxury Las Vegas hotel after their five-year-old daughter found a used condom in their room and put it in her mouth.
Little Caitlin Kilcoyne was rushed to hospital after dad Gerald and mum Jacqueline found her blowing up the sheath like a balloon.
The anxious parents, from Bellshill, Lanarkshire, feared she may have been exposed to AIDS or another disease.
They are suing the world-famous Caesar's Palace hotel and casino complex - and legal experts believe they could win hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Last night, the family refused to speak about their ordeal.
But their lawyer, Nolan Mortimer, said: "Their daughter found a used condom in the bed in her room.
"She put it in her mouth and inflated it believing it to be a balloon and then removed it immediately.
"A claim is being brought on behalf of the child and parents for the potential exposure to contracting a communicable disease.
"A claim is also being brought on behalf of the parents for the emotional distress caused by the incident and possible consequences.".
The nightmare unfolded when self-employed builder Gerald and wife Jacqueline, both 42, went on a three-week trip to America two years ago.
The Kilcoynes and their three children had booked adjoining rooms at Caesar's Palace but were then told none was available.
Management agreed to give them an exclusive suite as compensation.
In their legal claim, the family said Caitlin found the used condom in her freshly made bed as soon as they entered the hotel room.
They were near their daughter at the time and witnessed the incident.
They are seeking more than ?5400 in damages.
But legal experts believe a victory in Nevada's Clark County District Court could lead to a compensation package worth hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Their legal suit says that Caesar's Palace "negligently failed to maintain their hotel premises in a safe condition".
They are also claiming loss of earnings - which will include attendance at a future trial.
The Kilcoyne's US-based lawyer, William Kapalka, said the parents "observed the condom in her mouth, immediately removed it" and then informed the hotel.
Last night, a spokesman for Harrah's, the company who own Caesar's, refused to comment on the case.
He said: "It is not our policy to discuss matters where legal action is pending."
