None of my buds up here wan to play fantasy baseball and I do so I am asking you guys if you want to join my league. Run it through ESPn or something or somewhere free if there is such a thing.

I have chosen league safe dot com to secure funds for the entire season. What they do is accept the league fees and hold them until the season is over and then distribute them. That way you know I didn't take your money. Makes sense. I have chosen $50 for the league fee. I think if we get 10 teams then it will pay the top 3 and if we get 12 then we will pay the top 4?

I have not made a decision on rules but was hoping we could talk about it. I prefer head to head weekly action?

Just let me know what you guys think. Hoping for 10 teams to join the league.

i also like the head to head...

something to think about, you can set it up to where you only have too change your lineup once a week.

Say the rosters have to be set sunday nights, well then from sunday night to the next sunday night your roster will be the same the entire time. You have too set it on pitching matchups, starts, schedule, and other variables that could effect your players numbers each week. This allows it to still be competitive and fun, but for the guys who work 50 hour weeks, and not always able too check daily, to still be competitive and active. Just a thought. I have done two leagues like this and it was fun and successful both times.

As far as scoring categories, whatever is fine with me. I suggest using the basics..

Hits, average, HRS, runs, RBIS, Stolen bases

Wins, Saves, Complete games, Strikeouts, ERA, WHIP


Whatever though im in regarless.....

Let me know where too send the money.:toast:

Just to give you guys a heads up about Pickled Pete, there is nothing he knows more about than baseball. He will tell you stats from 1950 and he knows and follows all the minor leaguers. He will be a challenging player..

Cool! When were you thinking of drafting? This Saturday's good but Sunday's no good for me. Can't believe the season starts in 10 days - YAY! Lemme know....
