Hi guys

Pretty much any weekday night will work for me for a draft. I also agree that we do daily lineup changes. $50 entry sounds good. Maybe pay top 3 spots for regular season the Playoff winner and runner up. What do you guys think?

$50 is good, there shouldn't be a playoff and runner-up, though, if this is a roto league (not head-to-head)...the current draft time is fine with me (3/23), but it is easter sunday so some might take issue with it...

i think sunday the 23rd might work, let's see if people have a problem with that date first...most people are around on a sunday night whereas with a weekday it might be hard to coordinate 12 schedules...just my .02

23rd at night, still wondering if I can put in enough work on a live draft....there are only so many REDS to draft...

OK I have selected March 18th at 7:30 pm CST as the draft start time, does anyone have a problem with that?

Also how do you guys want to select the draft order. I looked on line and there is this site where you just input the teams and it spits out a random order. If you have any other suggestions let me know

yahoo will randomly select the order 30 minutes before the draft so unless people are desperate to know ahead of time....

disappointed the 23rd wouldn't work considering even if it is Easter, most family obligations are done by late afternoon, early evening....really fearing an obnoxiously long draft with the amount of rounds we have and the east coast crew might suffer a LONG night

OK I have setup a league on Yahoo

Roto style 5x5, 12 teams, Al/NL players, auto draft

13 position players, 9 pitchers, and 3 bench spots

If we want to contribute I can collect, I ran a college fantasy league on here and collected and paid everybody so you don't need to worry.

If everyone doesn't like this setup we can just change it and do something else.

13 position players + 9 pitchers = 22 starters.

I have 3 bench spots but to try and shorten the draft by 3 rounds, I can look and see if we can not draft those players, and just add them as Free agents after the draft. I figure 3 rounds will save us at least 45 minutes. especially at the end of the draft.

Any draft order that is truly random is fine with me. Use whatever....

I will most likely arrange my potential selections as provided on the site and let the computer place them for me. So any date will work....

Yahoo draft of 21 rounds takes just over an hour. Everybody has 1 minute to make selection.

Actually it is 90 seconds and we are scheduled for 25 rounds, if we conservatively think everyone uses only 30 seconds per pick, that puts us at two and a half hours....problem you can run into in these drafts is people using a minute or more on their picks, in the early rounds it shouldn't happen, but you'd be surprised, somebody snags the player you wanted right before your pick and people panic...now, things that could save time are people who use auto pick, otherwise we'll be lucky to get out in two to two and a half hours

Well it looks like Screaminpain is going to use auto pick for his draft. hopefully everyone is prepared and the first 3-4 rounds will only take 10 - 15 min as the picks should go quickly, but we'll see.

And I will just let yahoo select the draft order 30 min before the draft
