Being from Ohio, this is an easy one.

Carson Palmer.

These teams have put up points, and LOTS OF POINTS, the last few times they've played.

I predict a final score of eh....around 45-37.

I also think STL is playing very good ball of late.

I'd say Palmer as well..........I guess depending on the weather for that game.....

is it a TD league or yardage league? 6pts td, 4pts, 3 pts?

20 yds a pt?.....Big Ben seems to get the cheap little close tds, Palmer will throw for more yards......

Thanks for the input fellas.

The point system is complicated....

Rules for QB Event Range (Low-High) Points Test?
Length of Passing TD 0-9 6 pts
Length of Passing TD 10-39 9 pts
Length of Passing TD 40-110 12 pts
Passing Yards 0-199 0 pts
Passing Yards 200-1000 0 points for 200, and then 1 point for every 10 thereafter
Passing 2 Pointers 1-99 2 points each
Length of Rushing TD 0-9 12 pts
Length of Rushing TD 10-39 18 pts
Length of Rushing TD 40-110 24 pts
Rushing Yards 0-9 0 pts
Rushing Yards 10-999 1 point for every 10
Rushing 2 Pointers 1-99 2 points each
Length of Receiving TD 1-9 12 pts
Length of Receiving TD 10-39 18 pts
Length of Receiving TD 40-110 24 pts
Receiving Yards 0-9 0 pts
Receiving Yards 10-999 1 point for every 10
Receiving 2 Pointers 1-99 2 points each

Would you guys be concerned about having 4 players in the Cincy-Clev game?!?!? Seems like I have a lot riding on that one game.... I sure hope its a high scoring affair like the last time they met.... :mj07:

It's not like you're forcing the issue with players. You have all solid players so it doesn't matter how many really you got playing.

under that format, I guess I would say Palmer, more prone to hit the long ball and get well over 200, as compared to big ben and his normal stat line of 180 and a couple of tds.......

Ben-180 3 tds(1 shorty)(2 10-39)...20 yds rush- 26 pts

Palmer 280 2tds(1 (1 over 40)- 29 pts

but what do i know, i have no luck, I was the 3rd highest scoring team in a 12 man league and missed the playoffs:scared

That's a good point, Al, but i am afraid that Pitt will run the ball more this week. It seems that this season when Pitt is playing "tough" competition such as Jax last week or NE, they tend to throw the ball more and when they play "weaker" competition such as the Jets or Mia, they lean on Parker and the run game. I'm wondering if they will go back to the ground game this week....

Plus, Clev's pass defense is one of the worst in the league. I've checked the weath and although it could obviously change, there's no forecast for a blizzard like last week in Ohio.

i agree about pitt's tendencies plus big ben is banged up..so we don't know how well he'll perform.

cin. would love to put a dent into clev's playoff chances, so i think they will play hard..

you've changed my opinion....if there is little wind, i would go with palmer..

good luck

Here's another question, fellas.... My opponent this weekend has offered to split the pot 50-50 instead of the 75-25 split for the winner and loser....

With these 2 line-ups, would you chop it up? I'm inclined to let it ride and see what happens.... Chopping it would take all of the excitement out of this weekend's games, plus I think that I have a decent shot to win this weekend....

Thoughts???

I wouldn't take that. Your lineup and matchups are far better than his. You don't wanna do all that work all season long to just chop 50/50

Also, I think his only chance of beating you is Tony Gonzalez and his Vikings defense.
