We decided that via email, I believe. There is some discussion about it in this thread.

And yes, we decided the penalty for choosing Tiger was 0 points for the week, it DQ'd your entire team.

My bad for not catching it before I sent out the $$ for the segment winners.

It's not like the extra $$ goes to me, it goes to another player. That's what we voted and that's what we're doing.

Mr. Mel posted the revised payouts after everyone payed. However, in light of ScreaminPain choosing Tiger for the masters, here is what is happening:

ScreaminPain still gets 1st place overall, but is no longer first place for segment 2

(1st place overall minus 1st place for segment 2 (revised points 9,320,321)) = $560 - $140 = $420

Nassau Pressers 2nd place overall, plus 1st place for segment two (already got 2nd place for segment two - so owed the difference of $95 + $320 for second place overal) = $415

HandiCapper 3rd place overall = $240

BleedDodgerBlue 4th place overall = $140

Bomb Squad 2nd place overall for segment two = $45


Ask me if that doesn't make sense...

Yes, sorry, Handicapper +140 for segment 4 = total $ 380

And warner gets $45 for second place in segment 4...

No shit, I have about 150-180 in everyone one of my pools, and some of them like the Bowl Contest are a lot of work on my end. I usually never take anything for the NCAA Bracket Challenge because I don't to anything but set it up and chase $. I never took anything off the top other than a free entry for running it. Lately, I am paying out thousands and no one even offers a case of beer, let alone 5-10%. F*ck it, I take it off the top now and tell everyone not to give anything back if they win. Don't like don't get in.
