FWIW, this is from a newsletter about FF. It ranks each player and how they are expected to perform for the upcoming week. They have Bulger at # 7 and Garcia at #10.
Decent information usually provided. Hope this helps.
7. Marc Bulger, Rams: 300 yards, 2 TDs, 10 rush yards (vs. 49ers). The
Niners are not that good defensively, and they will realize that Sunday in
the Edward Jones Dome. Kurt Warner (concussion) might be cleared to play
Thursday morning, in which case Bulger is not a lock to play this game.
It won?t matter ? Mike Martz will go back to healthy doses of Marshall
Faulk and loosen things up, like he should have done before? This offense
is still powerful ? Warner threw for 342 yards last week after sustaining
the concussion on the 2nd pass play of the game.
10. Jeff Garcia, 49ers: 250 yards, 2 TDs, 20 rush yards (@ St. Louis).
Historically, Jeff doesn?t usually light up the Rams. In their last three
full matchups, he has 2 TD passes and 3 INTs, with a 52% completion rate ?
but he does have 3 rushing TDs in these 3 games. Kudos to him for playing
tough with that bad back, though you still don?t know when it will flare
up again. Tai Streets took a hard shot vs. the Bears and got dizzy, but
he played out the game and is fine for Sunday. In the Bears blowout,
Garcia had to settle for field goals in 5 of 9 trips to the red zone.
