Two questions and I need opinions please badly!!!

1) I have been offered a trade of Priest for Antonio Pierce. We use individual defensive players and LJ was banged up yesterday. Does anyone have any more info on him?? Would you make that trade??

2) I was thinking about trading Brees for Reggie Bush. My RB's are banged up right now with Alexander (I picked up Morris this morning for insurance), and Edge..... Kenny Watson and Fred Taylor are Free Agents. As far as QB's go, Free agents are Warner, Losman, Vince Young, Rivers

What would you do on both fronts??? Please help!!!

No idea about IDP leagues so cant answer.

If you need RB help then Id do it. There is enough talent to get by with on the WW to trade for a 1st rd RB, assuming its a PPR league.

You could also pick up Priest.

1) The High Priest is playing, thats for sure. I don't have experience w/IDPs, so I don't know what you could replace Pierce with, but I would imagine that you could find a player that can get 80% of his output for the guy now getting 75% of KC's RB touches. Besides, do you want to be the watching if Priest turns back the clock for 6 wks?? I would take that shot.

2)That being said.....if you get Priest, do you need to make that Brees/Bush move? In a PPR league, Bush is an animal to be sure.....and you might get value from Losman or Warner down the line as a replacement. I think Priest, Watson, James, and Morris (forget Alexander) is a solid stable, incl. PPR b/c Watson, Holmes, and Morris all do some damage there as well.

Just my thoughts.......curious what you'll end up doing.

BTW.......couldn't make a sale for Romo. Now looking at getting Favre from a guy with an outside shot at a W/C and the Rudi/Alexander blues. What do you think of Kitna/MJD/Branch for Favre/Jennings.......or just Kitna/MJD for Favre. Lose my RB velvet moving MJD, but he will not start for me as long as Lynch stays healthy.

Thanks for your input...The guy actually jerked the deal off the table..I did see where the Chiefs are going to run Kolby Smith as well and there are conflicting reports that LJ may be done for the season.

As far as your trades go, I would not get rid of MJD yet. Fragile Fred has a history of going down and I would ride it out just a little longer. Favre has some tougher matchups coming up and Kitna and the Lions are doing well. I would hold off for a week or so and look at it again before your trading deadline. When is your deadline??

I pulled it........couldn't resist for 2 reasons........

1)Lions are commited to running it to protect D and its working, plus Lions sked looks tougher thru the playoffs (Dal, @SD, KC, @GB) compared to #4 (Oak, @StL, @Chi, Det) who has no running game to speak of (like Det last yr)....plus I got Jennings leaving me with this line-up (no depth, though!)

2) Guy who has Brady huge GB fan, and this is only the 2nd yr he hasn't had Favre, so its a karma play to take down Tommy:shrug: I'm 8-1 right now and will have to lay down completely not to at least get w/c (3 up w/solid top 2 tiebreakers, 5 to go).....its agamble, but #4 just too hot right now.
