It's time to step and be a real team now, with the White Sox in town for a series and Verlander starting off. The significance of this will be lost on no one. If Detroit loses, there will be people ready to blow up the team tomorrow. :mj07:

Reduced bet since Tigers become a home team with me heading for the lake today. Long weekend and sorting gear for a 5-day canoe trip in Algonquin starting day after Labour Day. May be back with more or tomorrow if I can get to a WiFi at local library.

Morrow has really good potential with terrific stuff but is a very young pitcher with development needed. He has been really bad over a stretch of his last few games now (1-4, 6.75 era last five). Nova on the other hand is just going very well right now. The Yankee batters know how to wear down a young pitcher real early. Too bad, Brandon. :facepalm:

Out at the lake and just in town for a bit. Good luck all of you who have not abandoned baseball for throwball. :lol:
