Well...this is it... 2002 have been a nightmare to me (except for the birth of my little boy) It's been a 2 great years here at MJ. I don't want to quit that great family but have to... Some of you (Chucky,DJV,Nolan and Jack to name a few...) know how tough have been 2002, especially to my bank account (NO it wasn't because of gambling but because of fight in courts with my ex that is going to put me on bankrupt soon......). I had 2 great years in motor racing going over 60% with my picks but it has taken me too much of my time and now i have a wonderful little boy to take care of and my fiancee has been very supportive to me. Gambling consumes too much of my time and i have to make a choice. I'm going to get married this year (august) and i have to get rid of those personal problems before getting back. I'm really gonna miss you all... :(

I might post occasionnally and see how you're doing but i doubt i'll be able to help my motor racing friends here this year... However, if it's possible (a miracle can happen no?) i will try to help you beating those sportsbooks for a 3rd year in a row!:thefinger

Want to wish you all a good 2003 . May love and $$$ bring you happiness but don't forget to share time with the one you love!
And one final word, don't give up if you have to fight for your right
in court, even though it would cost your ass...

Don't be a sranger Big Boy.

about divorces and courts---a golfing bud of mine in law enforcement made a remark in jest (I think)a few years back.
In his eigth year of divorce she decided to take him back to court for more alimony. He depressingly shook his head and said,"you know,if I'd have shot the bitch I'd be out and free by now,as is I got 12 years left." ;)

1837: Hope everything works out for you when it's all said and done. Gotta take care of #1 first. I've taken more breaks than I've ever had this year with my mother, the birth of my 2nd boy, and other things going on in my life. Gambling has to take a backseat when it starts impinging on your life in an adverse way. We'll definitely miss you, and hope to see you back soon.

All the best, dubs.

I am basically a newbie still here, but best of luck! You're right, don't give up a fight like that no matter what the cost:clap: .

I often wondered which would be more expensive, a divorce lawyer or defense attorney:shrug:

I wish you the best of luck in all your endeavours. Having been raped in my divorce, I can only tell you that you should put it behind you as fast as you can. You can steam about it for the rest of your life, but the negativity isn't worth it. In California, if you are married 20 years and then get divorced, the wife collects alimony until she re-marries or dies. I have been paying alimony for 13 years and will probably see her buried before she re-marries. I write the checks and forget about it. Move on to the positive things in your life! Nest of luck!

I am new to madjacks, but like you I have been betting movies, so when I found this site I enjoyed viewing your old posts on the subject. You obviously have added a lot to this site.

All the best with your future - lakerfan

Very sorry to hear about your problems

Very sorry to hear about your problems

HI 1837

Very sorry to hear about your problems. Hope that you can put them behind you soon.

I am almost NEVER here now because I have been overwhelmed with dealing with my practice and my wife, Kathy. Kathy continues to improve but I just don't have time for much of this stuff anymore.

Wish you the best, my friend.

You have been one of my favorite "personalities" here at MadJack's.

Sincerely

AzRusty

1837 You do what must be done. Divorce I remember 22 years ago. Cant win just a super pain. Thank You so much for our great run in F1 and Cart. I have never in all my years had a run against the books as we did. All because of your great effort and hard work. Yes others at that site helped and it was great fun. But you put so much effort in. I still hope some how to get a chance to mt you. Please You must take care of your new family. Get it all worked out. If it feals good and is running smooth. Well I have idea MJ's will still be here. Im staying till the far right guys ask MJ to throw me out. For that matter the far left guys to. :D :D
I do feal your leaving down in my gut. And wish I could with all my years (that means old) give you the easy answer. You know we have no easy answers. That is why you will work your way through this and it will be OK. The Best To You. ;)

1837, best of luck to you in the future. I go to court on Jan. 13 to try and keep my X from taking my daughter to Dallas to live with her fifth (that is not a typo) husband, and she is 39. I am going for full custody and can think of nothing better than being on the recieving end of those monthly checks. Hope your wife's health continues to get better. Nothing worse than seeing the ones you love suffer, but staying positive and being supportive are the two best things you can do for her. Good Luck and I will see if I can bring one home for the men. I will be very glad to get this thing done and over with.

My fight in court is not about divorce because (Thank GOD!) i never got married with her but it is about something else and she has already told me that she could spend 40K in lawyers fees to put me on the street with my new family. I'm already 25K down and i had to stop that bleeding because it takes my time stress me out and you know the rest... As some of you wrote, i've already thought about getting a defense attorney instead... but i believe one day she will pay for her actions... When you spit in the air... Anyhow, i appreciate your kind words and that makes me feel better to see all the support i'm having here.. Thanks guys an don't worry, i'll stop by (still have some movies props pending...) once in a while! To all of you: :thumb: :toast:
