interesting game today between two teams I keep an eye on. odu plays for bowl eligibility today against suddenly respectable fau. fau beat rival fiu two weeks ago and last week played their hearts out to take the gators to overtime before losing. as a result, their injury list looks like a mash unit. but fla was in the ultimate letdown/sandwich spot of the decade, having clinched a spot in the sec championship the week before and with fsu on deck this weekend. odu is starting fr qb shuler bently who has looked credible since taking over a couple of weeks ago. also looking for monarch rb ray Lawry to be back today, although haven't seen anything definitive. he hurt his foot a couple of weeks ago and did not play last week on the road at so miss, imo probably held out for this game.
