Last week was not as good as I really thought it would be. I felt great going into last week and ended up coming out 5-5-1. Had a few bad breaks, but that's the way it goes. Washington has a FG blocked to swing momentum. Colorado throws an INT in the endzone for a cover at the end, and Bama blows a sure cover to come back and push at the end.
Here goes for this week:
Texas A&M +3 - I hate A&M as much as anyone. Fran left Bama and hope he never wins another game. As much as I want to play Miami out of pure hate, I just don't see the Canes generating enough offense to cover even 3 points. The Aggies will keep this very close and maybe even win straight up.
Oklahoma -23b - OU is a top 5 team and that's the bottom line. Tulsa is a good mid-major type team who can put points on the board but this defense is in a whole new league. The Sooners will easily win and I think they hang around 50 or so on Tulsa. They don't want any doubt left on who the dominant team in the state is.
Georgia Tech -3 (Buy hook) - GT looked bad against Boston College last week, but I think we all underestimated BC. Virginia picked up a big win on the road at Carolina last week but the UNC offense looked awful and could not stop UVA from moving the ball. This Jacket defense is much better than the Heels and should get a win and cover on the road. I see Tech here by 8.
