I am not blaming Favre for this one. ESPN deserves to eat a bunch of shit on this one.. Rumor has it that Visant Shiancoe wanted to start a ruze and was joking around and then the ESPN moguls ran with it.. It was such a shock to Vikes coaches and ownership that they were shitting their pants during practice when the news broke., Ownership panicked and offered more money.

Maybe Favre is giving Shiancoe a mil or 2 under the table to get him more money.:mj07:

I think more often than not it has been the medeia or someone else that has started the Favre stories and not Favre himself.

Exactly my point. I get people are tired of hearing his name but it isnt like he goes looking for a camera to jump in front of. In fact he says very little and the media fills in as they want. If your looking to blame someone start with espn, espn 2, espn 3, espn news, and all of their fucking lame programs that resemble "The View". Throw in fox sports, the nfl network, and all the other "unnamed source" reporting news hacks and what do you expect. Unlike the greatest receiver to ever play this game that had to be pushed out the door, farve has someone offering him millions to play a game he loves with a body that is worn down. Just not sure why people cant see why this must be extremely hard for him and why he has wavered on retiremnt the last few years.
