Nobody more obnoxious than Viking fans. Huge band-wagon jumpers.

Packer fans being Favre fans after he went to the Vikings is like the Green Mountain Boys being Benedict Arnold fans after he ecame a traitor.

The Vikings can have him and I hope they take him. Ask Fran Tarkenton about Favre!

There you proved the point..

Go to any bar is WI when the Pack is playing, watch a 3 yard gain, if you weren't watching you would of thought the Pack scored a TD..

The guys I watch games with are not obnoxious at all, maybe when they were younger but those days have past.

Truth is fans are all types of people, you have cool people and you have assholes no matter what "team" they root for.

No I have been to many different places to watch football, baseball, and hockey.. Have not been out west to LA or Oakland but so far the WI fans are the worst. Definitely obnoxious and definitely cannot take objective criticism.

I root for the Brewers but the behavior that transpires at Miller Park when the Twins, Cubs, Cards are in there is crazy. I have been to Chicago to watch both team and never seen the craziness that happens.. Been to Pittsburgh to see the Pens play the Flyers and it was great..

Packer fans are a ton worse than Bear fans in MY EXPERIENCE!!

Was at a local bar a few years back when Freeman made the ridiculous catch on Monday night against the Vikes. Me and my Packer fan buddy go to a local pub and play darts and pool. This BIG FAT woman was dressed in a Packer Clown suit, never seen her before and did not know her. She was in my face immediately about the game and I was like congrats your team won but she could not let it go. She kept up for a long time.. I finally told her that Walmart was still open I am sure there was a quanity of slimfast...

I guess the point I make is that a Packer fan will go out his/.... her:facepalm: way to give someone shit they don't even know. I don't mind taking a ribbing from friends and so forth but when some dumbass makes a point to go out their way to give me shit gets me a little hot especially the chick who can not tell me who plays on the offensive line.

Plus growing up in the late 70s and 80s, no chick I went to school with ever cared about the Packers and it continued this way until about the time Favre got there. Now these same chicks are out in droves wearing Packer shit and drooling over football. Shows ya what a guy like Favre can do..

I've seen more purple #4 women drooling over Favre than I ever saw in green! Shows the difference in what people see. I see many more Viking fans trying to rub the Packer fans nose in it when the Vikings are winning against the Pack. Most Packer fans I know are very civilized and do not rub anyone's nose in it.

I guess it all depends on where you are at I guess and as of now it is a bit less cause Green Bay has been winning. When they are having a down year or subpar then they can't take it.

Meant to be a friendly post!

Meant to be a friendly post!

!

Was at a local bar a few years back when Freeman made the ridiculous catch on Monday night against the Vikes.

BP: That's my all time favorite play. I still have it video taped from the 2000 season. "The Improbable Bobble"

I suppose you're right. I like to think of us Wisconsinite's as "Passionate" about our sports. Some lame ass study once had the Wisconsin employee production down 15% the Monday after a Packer loss, but I think it's much worse than that!

The Packers have sold out every game at Lambeau Field since 1960. I put my kids on the waiting list for season tickets in 2003, and I get an update card every October. They move up an average of 475 people per year! My son is at 54,297, and my daughter at 54,574.

Along with Favre, you probably remember what Paul Molitor went through when he left the Brewers. Whenever he came back to County Stadium, half cheers, half boo's. You sign with us, (and if you're a superstar), you have a lifetime contract with our state, or we'll let you know about it!

DID YOU HEAR THAT PRINCE FIELDER?! :scared

I would take Favre any day over leinert. Still kills me that some packer fans have such hatred for Favre! Without him the team is non existent in the 90s no 90s Super Bowl

I agree 100%. I doubt they would be where they are today either. Favre turned around the whole franchise.

I still remember going to all the games in the 70's and 80's - and the place wouldn't be close to full, and people were giving away tickets to games left and right.

Without Favre, there would have been no Reggie White in Green Bay. No Super Bowls in the 90's...

People forget that over Favre's 16 year career in GB, the team only had 1 losing season. That is just amazing, especially when remembering the 20 years before Favre took over.

Yes, Rodgers has been great. Rodgers first year, he took a 13-3 team from 2007 that was QB'd by Favre and went 6-10 in 2008. So, Rodgers has already had his losing season. Since then he's had 3 winning seasons (including this one). Only 12 more non losing seasons in a row to go to equal Favre!

I think the Favre hatred is because 1) he went to the Vikings (which made sense for him, but ripped the heart out of Packer fans. What was he supposed to do? Thompson told him to get lost, so I don't blame him for that) and 2) the constant drama over the last 5 years of his career (which I do blame him for - the retirement crap, the penis stuff - just stupid stuff).

He'll go in the HOF as a Packer - no doubt about it.

Still can't believe his consecutive game streak. Unreal. Played through anything. You see all the pussy QB's today that miss games (and seasons) today - and it makes you realize how tough that SOB was. It is so important for the 1st string QB to be out there every game - the backups are never nearly as good as the Pro Bowl starter. The Colts are a great example of that this year. It means so much to a team to have their starter out there 16 games a year.

We've been so lucky in GB to have a QB that holds pretty much every record in NFL history, followed by a guy, who if he plays long enough, could hold a bunch of them too........

I agree with this but Rodgers didn't have to play against a team filled with HOF ers IE the cowboys year after year in the playoffs!

Mags I agree with you 100%

You are correct sir. Two Super Bowl appearances, SB 31 win against New England, and SB 32 loss against Denver. One ring for Favre.
