Their defense is the dominant factor in this matchup. Mt Union is always tough and ranked #1 but I think that they are in a little deep with UWW. 8th time in 9 years that these two div 3 dynasties have slugged it out. Feeling strongly that the Warhawk defense sets them apart from the Raiders and that Whitewater is the better team here..... Neutral field for this game.

OU pretty much just flat out quit on Solich in the last part of the season. No team deserves to be bowling less than the Bobcats.

I have probably spent more time on this game than I should have......


Lenoir-Rhyne has ran off 13 straight and has beat some pretty good teams to get to this championship game including wins over two pretty highly ranked one loss teams. N W Missouri state is an impressive foe, no doubt. They are undefeated and have also taken down some pretty good div 2 company. They have stopped most everybody on their schedule from rushing the ball but a couple teams have had close to 5yd per carry day against them.

Lenoir-Rhyne's strength is running a triple option offense, rushing the football and turning the game over to a pretty solid defense. They have ran for over 400 yards against multiple foes including their semifinal win. So I suppose it all boils down to the question : Can they move the ball on the ground against NW Missouri? Well, since they will break the all time Div II rushing yard record in this game I think it's safe to assume that NW Missouri has not seen a rushing attack like this one.

I don't think that it is unreasonable to think that they can enjoy some success on the ground and manage to keep this game close. this is a very generous spread and I wouldn't be shocked to see them pull the upset. There is also a good chance of thunderstorms and rain in the area which shouldn't hurt this play at all.

Actually, The weather is looking perfect, wind speed is zero. It's not realistic to think that Mt Union won't put up a few points on their own and give em up faster than they score themselves.

If I had known that Justice gets hurt in practice and would not start at QB I don't touch the LR/NW Mizz game at all. Had I known that Justice magically appears to be fine and plays the 2nd half , I don't make the 2H play.

What a clusterfuck, If justice starts LR probably wins this game.
