Love the show but Kim has to be the MOST RIDICULOUS (sp?) character on television bar none.

I was wondering if anyone else was still watching. I think this season is way below the previous 2 years. If not for the fact that I want to know what happens to the characters I would say that it is nearly unwatchable this season. It was nice to see Nina get blown away though:)

Chloe's horrendous! I personally don't think Kim's that bad an actress, but her working at CTU and being so involved is very far-fetched. Then again, it's television, so you've gotta take it for what it is......

Also, I think last season was so good, it's natural to be a bit disappointed about this season, SO FAR, but there's a lot of hours left in the day........ :D

i'm glad i'm not the only one who has tired of this show.

dcplayer, kim is not the only character that is far fetched. how about the pres. of the u.s. having a wife who does trouble shooting for him. i mean can you imagine barbara bush or eleanor roosevelt doing what mrs. palmer does ?

the show, imo, is bordering on the absurd. no wait, they have crossed the border & is now an absurd show.

AR you are right one the money. Law and Order can still bring it after all these years, and the two CSIs I never miss. Sopranos strikes a nerve with me only because the freaking shows producers feels its so good they only have to have a new season on once every 47 years.

That being said, 24 started very slowly this year, but HOLY CHIT it has been bringing the heat the last 5 episodes or so. Of course the whole premise is ridiculous, I mean is it any more ridiculous than the fact that this guy has been in the middle of 3 life or death situations the last 3 seasons? I loved seeing Jack give Nina the business on Tuesday!

Here is another strong vote for "The Shield" starting up again soon. Another excellent show that I believe is coming back is "The Wire" on HBO like Sopranos. I enjoy the CSI's, but if we are going to criticize "24", which is easy to do on so many fronts, I think there is ample reason to criticize the CSI's. I don't know about other cities, but the equivalent of CSI's in Los Angeles do not carrry weapons, do not go on raids, do not apprehend suspects, and do not interrogate suspects. They gather the evidence and process it. But CSI guys and girls not only collect and process, they arrest and interrogate. Another good show that appears to be a little more legit is "NCIS" with Mark Harmon. It is an enjoyable mystery drama with a sly sense of humor.

First of all, I personally feel that you can't compare the HBO shows to the network shows. The Wire, Soprano's, Curb Your Enthusiam, Six Feet Under, OZ (While it was still on), and even the show with Gary Shandling, were all incredible. They play on a different level however.
24, in my opinion, is quality for network drama's. Of course the plot-line is totally far-fetched, but you have to go with it..... example, I think it was two episodes ago, the show start's out 12:00 midnight, Jack and Chase are in the middle of nowhere hunting Nina, whom they're only just about to find. 12:17, Jack, Chase, and Nina are all aboard a C130 presumably at cruising altitude en-route back to Los Angeles. Now if you look at stuff like that, it's easy to say, "WTF??" and turn it off. You gotta roll with it though, and it becomes a lot more interesting.
My point? Not sure.

the shield would be in my top two. i don't watch much tv at night that is network. so my opinion may not be as well versed. i love the sopranos as i love the mob shat. but the shield is gripping at times with its levels of intensity. if any one saw the episode where the the latino got his face branded by the eye of the stove. it was very intense.
