everyone is aware I'm sure about Maddux record against Arizona. Ndnfan did a incredible writeup about this is his thread. However I'm looking at Helling and although his 1 start against Atlanta is favorable, he hasn't started in weeks since his ankle injury. Previous to this he was 0-3 with a 11 + era. In addition although very sharp last night Kim was used 2 full innings. He is durable, however I doubt he will be as sharp when needed tonight. Manteii also was used and he is still limited from surgery. Braves bp was also tax ed although it was spread throughout 5 pitchers. I don't believe any bp can compete against Atlanta. Remember Gonzalez 0-10 with 5K OVER LAST 3 GAMES. last but not least, few athletes possess the drive Maddux has, oddly enough I would feel better taking Arizona if Maddux was 5-0 against them. Maddux will compete tonight & I bet he goes longer than 7.
