Nick & others have already posted plays on Kansas City. I also believe Royals are worth a shot.
Kansas City only possesses 16 road victories & has dropped 7 straight to Yankees before last night. Royals also haven't been able to score more than 4 runs over last 16 games. However offensively they have exploded against Minnesota & New York over last 2 games scoring 18 runs, while receiving good pitching. Go figure with Sweeney out, Kansas City starts hitting the baseball.
Suppan looked respectable is last outing.
Clemens coming off dl, has not lasted past 5 innings last 6 starts. Also has not posted a victory over those starts. Clemens strikeout 7 AA hitters in rehab assignment last week, although he gave up 5 hits also losing 1-0. Clemens has taken shot in foot to relieve pain. As a long time Clemens Fan, he is generally to strong & over throws when returning from injuries. He is apt to be wild high tonight resulting in traffic on bases. His split finger will most likely be lacking because of inactivity.
4 the price Kansas City is a good shot, there speed & aggressiveness could mean problems Clemens & Yankees

asking kc to play well two days in a row against a team that feels the redsox are real may be a bit much. my opinion, if you made money last night, throw 50 bucks on the royals. if you lost, play games that have lesser value, but have a better chance of winning, my personal favorite tonight are the tigers, not a bad line, at home, against a bunch of burned out rangers who don't give a shit about anything.

bbf, agree with your opinion on Detroit, Redman has been a God sent for pitching starved Tigers. Also agreeing Kansas City isn't a big money play tonight, but at $300 + I think they are worth a shot. Yankees are struggling offensively, they did in Anaheim and certainly last night. Also they are extended bp with Rivera out and Stanton & Karsay over worked
