It was SMU? how did these guys not make the tourney when they were ranked last week? I realize losing to Houston in the conference tourney probably didn't help them, but they should have made it without a doubt over NC State, Xavier, Dayton, BYU, Arizona State, just to name a few teams...

Kind of shocked at Louisville's seeding. I thought they would be possibly a #1 or #2 at worst based on the way they played late in the year.
Non conference strength of schedule along with overall weakness of AAC were biggest factors.
I believe I read SMU had something like the 303 worst non conference schedule.
Memphis, UConn and Cincy are not having great years. Only NCCA team out of conference that SMU played was UVA and they lost.
NC State beat Tenn on the road and that helped them along with a bad loss to NCCU does not look so bad as they are NCCA team.
Maybe CBS wanted the star power of TJ Warren to boost ratings.
Playing Xavier in Dayton may end season for Warren quickly.
How does St Louis get 5th seed losing last 4 out of 5.
I do think Louisville deserved a three seed.
How is Wisky a two seed plus get into perennial weak ass West region?
I would have picked SMU over BYU.

Louisville would never be a 1 or a 2...who have they beat, they beat Rutgers and Houston in conference tourney the league they are in is comparable to Gonzagas and that is bad. Now they might play better than a 4 seed but there overall record doesn't entitle them to that. I think nc state got in cause a win over Syracuse in acc tourney but come on they have been a 500 team for awhile. everything can be debateable now but reason smu didn't get in cause their conference is weak we wouldn't want st marys or san fran in this either. only thing that upset me is all the espn guys have mich state winning it all the same team until the torney didn't win back to back games since january
Not really. They have one good player, but any halfway decent team crushes them. Just because Xavier had one of their worst games of the season does not mean NC State deserved to get in. I know it's hard for you to be objective living in ACC land, but that conference was a shitshow this year. No way in the world did NC State deserve to get in. They may beat Saint Louis because they are in free fall, but they will get CRUSHED by Louisville.
If Xavier is any indication of how strong Big East is I would recommend betting against the other teams.
Warren had two fouls in first two minutes and Xavier still could not win.
State lost by one to a team called UNC that had no problems with Louisville who by the way won 0 games against non conference NCAA teams.
