Just won with Pacers +13 and Lakers +16.5 so feeling good after going 7-2 overall today with college and NBA. Lost Ga Washington by a half-point and lost Niagara, but did very well overall with Pacers, Lakers, Raptors, Pacers 2nd half, Albany, Duquesne, & Northern Illinois being the winners.
Saturday Plays for now:
Kansas -11.5 for 5* - I was guessing this line would be KU -14 and was rather shocked to see -11.5, except oddsmakers see Kansas has real issues with Mason playing so poorly at PG and Texas will press which gave KU major issues @ West Va. I think KU will bring their absolute A game and crush Texas IMHO after getting shitted and pissed on @ Oklahoma State. KU was treated like a dirty whore in Stillwater and Texas feeling awesome winning vs a very talented squad in WVU... KU who should come ready to crush or they have zero heart. Perfect setup with Texas feeling very good coming off win @ West Va and traveling back-to-back to face a super pissed KU team who probably wins by 20.... call it 80-60! If KU wins by single digits, they really are super over-rated.
One last thing, Texas was +12/+12.5 @ West Va and now +11.5 @ KU while KU was just -2/-2.5 @ West Va less than 2 weeks ago... math wise, KU should be about -17 if you take out previous games which you can't. Huge over adjustment in the point spread IMHO. KU will have a field day in the paint as well with Ridley out and these teams didn't just suddenly get that much better or worse in a week. Oklahoma State played out of their minds vs KU and West Va crapped the bed after 2 tough games vs Texas. You can't get up every game and this stuff happens which gives you value as a bettor. KU will be sky high tomorrow is my best guess.
Maryland +4 for 5* - Tough to back the Twerps in this spot against a pissed off bunch of Spartans, but Michigan State has obvious problems IMHO and winning by 5+ will be very difficult. Before the season, Izzo was worried about this club's rebounding and defense and both have been weak recently. They got crushed by Shavon Shields last game. Valentine is back so he will be equivalent he was against KU in November and now he is coming off an injury, uh, not quite. He's still battling the injury bug and Turgeon's squad has enough to win this game SU or at least play to the final possession IMO. Feel this is a solid play as Maryland has one of the best starting 5 squads in the country and I think they are a tossup to win SU.
Utah State +8.5 for 4* - Aztecs play nasty defense and already won @ Utah State 70-67... however, this club struggles at the charity stripe big time and tough to see them extending margin of victory vs anyone hitting just over 60% FT's. More of a gut check play, but watched Aztecs the other night vs Fresno State and they just aren't very good on the offensive end, but find a way to win ugly. They have a bunch of athletes who are more street ball players. Think they have another ugly win Saturday night by 8 or less. Their offensive game is fairly brutal, but they play defense like that dude you face in the streets who won't let you call fouls agains him. Physical and tough!
