I think that would be a violation of MLB uniform rules. But I dont think there is a rule that it has to be straight and the bill bended like you are looking in the mailbox for your farm subsidy check.

I don't think it's a matter of right or wrong, but it is a uniform, the whole point is so everyone looks roughly the same. Gives the appearance of organization and tidiness.

That being said I like players who jack their stirrups halfway up their knees, so it probably just boils down to personal preference. :0003

The fact that they wear their pants down to their ankles without stirrups bothers me more than a crooked cap. Baseball uniforms have been sloppy as hell for a couple decades now.
