That's a real intimidating head move he makes. You know........that "head snap" towards home, as if someone just yelled, "Free food!".

It's the move he makes before throwing a 57 foot dirtball.

Hey YYZ,

That is funny what he does with his head, however


He has ashma (Ck Spelling?) real bad and that is what he does to get focused. I got a buddy that does the AZ color comm., Jim Traber (http://thesportsanimal.com/dj.html) that also lives here in OKC and does radio here.

He said what Fetters does is find a spot on the ground, takes a deep breath to relax them "snaps his head" towards home to get the sign. He is not doing that for fun, he is doing that to get ready to pitch the next ball.

So as you might think, he looks funny but that is the reason that he does that. On a lighter note, I had AZ tonight to avoid the sweep and Whew!!

So, just thought I would shed some light on the situation.

jim traber, that brings back some memories, remember hanging in the hotel lobby all summer in arlington, getting countless autographs as a youth. for a couple of years there were only like 8-10 of us and most everyone would stop and sign. think i have a couple spare '87 traber cards autographed somewhere in my closet back at my parent's house...
