Who really cares that you have perfect credit? Good for you. Why don't you post your w-2's for us as well. That would really be exciting, Just don't be offended that people don't give a damn what your FICO scores are. Sounds like bragging.

I was asked by Jack, then harrassed by others who thought I had no clue about the status of my own credit.

Since I was just approved for a new house, I got them and posted them. It's not bragging if other people are calling you out and you respond to it.

I would guess someone who would consider that *bragging* have shitty scores.

Nobody gives a shit about what you claim your credit score is.

I know no one gives a shit, but then don't ask and expect no response.

I got approved for a new house, but haven't bought one yet. Four offers were made in the first week, and I lost out at the last second to someone who paid the listing price.

Ok, I'm done on this issue.

I didn't pay for the score, it's like $7.00. I have perfect credit so I have as high of a score as it gets, basically. I just wanted to check and make sure no identity thieves had gotten hold of my information.

See.you did say as high of ascore as it gets........well 824,816 and 808 is not as high as it gets.......so you were absolutely wrong in the first place.
Kind of hard to understand if you are in the business you would even make a statement like this.

And you didnt have the status of your own credit as you say otherwise you would not have said as high as it gets...........because you score are not.

Even if you did say you had perfect credit you still said you had a score that was as high as it gets.....wrong

most scores over 820ish are people who are older (50+) who have for many years established an excellent credit/payment history, pretty much flawless. There are many factors that are taken into account in regards to your FICO score. Before going to law school I worked as a credit analyst and very rarely did I see a score over 830, a few 820-830s.
Only once did I see a 840+ score, customer was 79 years old.

And another thing going from 820 to say 840 is a lot harder than going from 720 to 780............the higher it gets the harder it is to move up........

A person may find they stay at 820ish a long time before they get to 850.........

Just my opinion.........
