Final TD Last Night

I thought of this last night and it has been talked about on the radio this morning...

Lets say the refs overturn the TD and say it was not a catch. The Ravens had 2 personnel fouls on that play. The previous play was on the 8 yard line, 1st penalty half the distance to goal puts it on 4, 2nd penalty puts it on 2. Pats would then have 1st & goal from the 2 with 44 seconds left.

So thanks to Ravens stupidity, odds are the Pats would have scored anyway... :shrug:

If you want to talk about bad calls.....Ravens defensive coach's time out was the worst call of the game. The look Ray Lewis gave that coach when he took off his helmet and dropped to knee was like he was ready to stab him.

yeah Blitz, that is a very relevant point. I think the catch should have been overturned, but the Pats would have scored a TD with 1st and goal from the 2, so all it really ended up doing was save the Ravens some time. It was Bollers pick and some bad play calling, bad TO call, and other mistakes made by the Ravens that cost them the game.

sure they do.......1st and goal from the 1.5 for ne with 45 secs left.

call on the field was td
replay looked pretty 50-50 to me (i thought it was a catch)
thus, replay shouldnt overturn the call
and it didnt

why is this game such a fix?????

100 penalty yard vs 30...ummmmm balt picked up 35 of their penalty yards on the last td so it really was 65-30, not a huge fix.

It wasn't 4th down it was 1st and goal on the 8 after the hold on Watson...
