you guys helped bail me out last week

made it to Finals for big league

I believe with transaction fees and buy-ins total it will be big purse.

probably 1st- $3500-4000 and 2nd $1500 range

so would love to really get solid advice...

1st. DEFENSE..........do I play BALT or MIAMI or NE. I like all 3.......

BALT VS HOUSTON........ gotta think Baltimore will sack thad lewis a shit ton....or case keenum....

MIAMI VS MINNY.......... I think Miami dominates this game and I like bridgewater, but still a rookie vs a dominant defense

NEW ENGLAND VS NJY........this is where I am leaning towards right now....gotta think they want home field and the #1seed.....they will be flying around Geno smith

which team will score a DEF TD?

Miami at home I love after a brutal few game stretch......they are licking their chops to play a rookie after seeing MANNING/BRADY/RODGERS/RIVERS this year...

2. TE

TRAVIS KELCE VS PITT........pitt getting shredded by Tight ends and looks like kelce/smith finaly have chemistry for consistent lengths of time.......kelce a freak athlete

GREG OLSEN VS CLEV.......browns much better against the pass (TE), but they are surely a team that is on the downslide, and regardless of opponent, olsen is the consistent #1 targeted guy along with Benjamin....

having hard time deciding with both. listened to select words of wisdom last week and advanced so what anything think?

I would not play Baltimore defense. they are soft against the pass.

1 NE
2 MIAMI

Thad lewis sucks ....but i agree balt def is bad vs pass.....but they rush the passer better than anyone...and he will make mistakes....

But my gut tells me pats/kelce

I dunno

Pats gonna steamroll the Jets! Pats D will play well

Always play the studs.

New England is the best choice by a large margin as is Olsen. Carolina ' s number one option.

Ya i think pats are safest bet

Bridgewater is gonna struggle tho im afraid and dolphins should create turnovers.....ahhhh

And fdc ya olseen 10 targets a game it feels im crazy to not start em

Ahhhh wish it wasnt so much coin id just set it and go

Where it is real F ing COLD
Olsen over Kelce all day long IMO. That's tough to go on defense there. Vikes can't block, jets are turnover prone. Vikes shouldn't allow a special teams score. They are good in coverage

there it is. you can try and get cute and maybe take shot at def banking on a TD... though getting cute usually doesn't pay off.
will be pulling for ya, your squad, regardless whom you end up thinking to start. GL man

Pats based on opponent alone.

On the surface the natural instinct says consistent Olsen but your analysis is spot on regarding the D' and I am expecting a low total on Panthers/Browns so I would take the chance on Kelce.

Sorry to hijacks your thread but I could use some advice on my own Fantasy team as the season is wrapping up.

I need to make a decision on my final spot for a RB (Lacey has the first one).

Available players are:
Giovani bernard playing in Denver
Toby Gerhart playing Tennesee
Andre Williams playing STL

Im leaning towards Bernard only because Cincy needs to win while the other 2 RBs teams are eliminated.

Standard

Im concerned with Williams since Giants are going against STL who has a good run D, yeah he gets alot of touches but he may only get 50/60 yards......

God couldn't get 50 yards or a TD on the ground vs Denver right now..

So now your down to 2 choices.

So Cal
Here's my 2 cents

I think the Jets will play spoiler in a close match. maybe even a win one for the coach kinda thing. It's really obvious there is no love loss between the two .
Ryan and belichek hate each other . The jets and pats hate each other.

The Ravens need to keep winning to stay alive for a playoff spot
Houston Texans just picked up 2 guys off the street that don't know the playbook and are expected to play and be effective :nono:.... The Ravens secondary is suspect but I think they can handle this task easily. Harbaugh has to be foaming at the mouth for this kinda match up with so much on the line. The Ravens Defense will dominate
IMO this is a no brainer Baltimore Ravens all the way.

Flacco is flying under the radar this year. He's having a nice season .
Houston will fall behind quick and be forced to toss it around and then come the turnovers&
Maybe a TD for the defense too.

Best of luck

Have to agree with tulah there. You can't overstate the QB situation in Houston. I'd only rank the SEA defense higher, BAL's defense get a lot of sacks, and that against an off the street QB will create TO.
