What would you rather have - somebody like Ahmad Rashaad that kisses everybody's ass and wouldn't criticize Bin Laden for crashing the Twin Towers? Walton and Tolbert can be annoying, but at least they offer a viewpoint. In Walton's case, much of what he says is tongue in cheek, intentionally made to provoke a response. I'd rather hear that than the same old crap from a Brent Mussburger type.

I'd like to see more of Van Gundy as an analyst. He made a few appearances during the season and I thought he did a great job. While I realize much of what Walton says is tongue-in-cheek, I find him to be pretty much worthless. His main goal seems to be to draw attention to himself. And he clearly succeeds as evidenced by threads like this. But is that the role of an analyst?
