CHICAGO W. SOX (Keuchel) -120 over DETROIT (Skubal)

The White Sox have now won five in a row,

while extending their lead in the AL Central

to six games. They are now 9-2 vs. Detroit

in head to head play (+$420), while bringing

an 18-7 record vs. left-handers into today's

contest. The Tigers have been profitable in

2021, but they average just 4.0 runs per game

on offense. Dallas Keuchel has looked sharp

in recent outings (2.80 ERA last two, +$465

overall)

Milwaukee at Pittsburgh (4) 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

The Brewers have surged to a six game lead in the NL Central, winning their last 8 in a row (+$810 overall). They continue to enjoy solid pitching (3.59 team ERA) and they should fare well against the last place Pirates this weekend at PNC Park. The Bucs are in free fall at 29-50 (-$855) and their pitching (4.70 team ERA) gives us little confidence vs. the hot road team. The Pirates will be fortunate to avoid a sweep at the hands of Milwaukee in this four game set. PREFERRED: Brewers in all games.

San Francisco at Arizona (4) 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

This series is a complete mismatch, with the worst team in MLB (D?Backs 22-60, -$3345) taking on the best (SF 50-29, +$2285). The Giants are a perfect 6-0 vs. Arizona in head to head competition (+$600). They check in with a 3.21 team ERA (2nd best in the majors, while the Diamondbacks rank dead last in that department (5.28). Unless prices get wildly inflated, we?ll stick with the visitor throughout. PREFERRED: Giants at -175 or less.

Chicago Cubs at Cincinnati (3) 2nd, 3rd, 4th

The Cubs have faded in recent days, dropping 7 of their last 9 (-$520, 3.1 runs per game), and they are facing a capable pair of pitchers this weekend at Great American. They?ve been dreadful on the road (16-26, -$710) and they average a mere 3.8 runs per game vs. right-handers. Take a shot with Sonny Gray (3.42 ERA) and Tyler Mahle (+$625, 3.63) and a Reds team that averages close to 5.0 runs per game at the plate. PREFERRED: S. Gray/Mahle.

Boston at Oakland (3) 2nd, 3rd, 4th

The Red Sox have won seven in a row and taken command in the AL East standings. They?ve been highly profitable in their road games (+$1210) and they are catching the Athletics coming off of a mediocre stretch (4-6, -$420 last 10 days). We?ll stay away from Eduardo Rodriguez (5.84 ERA) given Oakland?s 22-11 mark against southpaws (+$920). But Garrett Richards (+$210) and Nick Pivetta (+$605) have been money-makers for the Bosox and we like their chances at the Coliseum. PREFERRED: G. Richards/Pivetta.
