Dogs - 4-1 ATS, 4-1 Outright winners:scared

Overs - 5-0:scared

Mountain West Conference - 3-0 SU, 3-0 ATS:scared
All 3 were straight up dog winners:scared

PAC 10 - 0-2 SU, 0-2 ATS:mj07:

Conference USA - 0-2 SU, 0-2 ATS:rolleyes:

What does this mean:shrug:
It is quite clear that the term "mid major" only applies to basketball.

If you don't think TCU deserves some shot at a NC you are foolish. IMO, they could be the most complete team in college football.

Yes, I still believe the SEC is the best conference, but I would take TCU over Bama at a pick on a neutral field.

I would take TCU minus 3 against Texas right now as well.

I gave the PAC 10 WAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too much credit earlier this year.

I think that we may be closer to a plus one than other people think. If you agree, then hope TCU kicks the shat out of Boise which I think they will.

Enjoy the hell out of the rest of the bowl season because the first give games have been above average iMO - Merry Christmas everyone:toast:

dtb used to post a thread every year on how profitable it is to take the dogs straight up before the new years bowls. Seems to happen about every year.

Just my opinion and it has nothing to do with schedule. SOS is overrated this time of year and it is not TCU's fault that they didn't have a tougher schedule. I mean hell, they went on the road to Virginia and Clemson and won both as well as azz-raping BYU on their home field. The same BYU team that just monkey fawked Oregon St who was one game away from the Rose Bowl.

If you are not a homer, you would have to agree that OVERALL, the SEC was way down this year. The toughest conference? Yes, I still think so, but not nearly as tough as in the past.

If Bama wipes the floor with Texas, then I will bow and say I was wrong on the TCU point, but I think TCU would beat Texas in a "semifinal" playoff game. McCoy showed in the B12 champ game that he was very nervous and almost choked the game away in the last seconds. I hope he performs better in the title game because I really like the guy and think he is great for college football.

Bottom line, Bama would not handle TCU as easily as they did your Gators and I don't mean that in any disrespectful way. The point of this is to underline the fact that the Utahs, BYUs, TCUs, and Boises are here to stay and not flash in the pan programs. It is great for college football, but horrible for the BCS. The fact that they matched up TCU and Boise is more evidence that they are scared shitless that both would beat major conference teams.

Good Luck this bowl season CB
