Mississippi State(+23') over Alabama (1.5*)
- - All those points still jump off the page for me in the best situational spot all season for a tough and confident SEC rival to face the No. 1 team in the country.

Oregon State(-3)(-123) over Washington (1*) (1.5*)
- - I'm still on board.

Oregon(-8') over USC( 1.5*)
- - Way too much coming at USC here.

Pittsburgh(+16') over Notre Dame (1.5*)
- - A rivalry dominated ATS recently by the visitors and dogs should get a spirited rendition.

Mississippi State(+6') over Texas A&M (1.0*)

- -

Florida(-19) over Missouri (1*)
- - If Florida is as good and well-coached as I think they are, this spot is a full-blooded mismatch.

Iowa State(+12) over Oklahoma (1*)
- -

Penn State(-3)(-130) over Purdue (1*)
- - Whenever I am trusting my stuff enough for a full card, I have to include my strongest play in the Big Ten.

Romney(+330) Elected President
- - Or hedge some of that play with Electoral College Winner Not Win Popular Vote(+230). My allegiances are fully vested on the other side, but Mittens Robme will win the popular vote and is definitely a live dog.

First and Ten, page 2 . . . I can't believe I've made it through an entire NCAA season without a slump that "required" a new thread to change the mojo . . . and I've only used two threads so far for the entire NFL season.

Stanford(-2) over UCLA (1.5*)
- - Stanford is now carrying my cash all the way to winning their first Rose Bowl since January of 1972, and they don't shit the bed in this step of the journey.

Arizona(-3)(-103) over Arizona State (1.5*)
- - From elsewhere . . . It seems the 5 FCS teams Arizona State has beaten have a combined record of 12-44, while Arizona has beaten USC and Oklahoma State. In this newly minted version of an old rivalry, I'll take mentor HC Rodriquez with the better resurgent team at home with the senior QB over his former assistant HC Graham.

Nebraska(-16') over Iowa (1*)
- - With the Rose Bowl squarely in their sights, I can't picture how Iowa rallies to stand up toe to toe against a Big Red border invasion of explosive playmakers.

Washington(-14) over Washington State (1*)
- -

3-0 in my next three plays, after going 0-3 in the early (or this week, Friday) games. Fortunately, I've had strong and confident answers when I've most needed them all season long.

UCLA(+10)(-119) over Stanford (1*)
- - IMdefO the just better Stanford team isn't coming home off their epic road trip to flounder this Rose Bowl shot, and Stanford in the Rose Bowl will be a large play. But the more I look at the game, the scrappier UCLA looks, so I'm expecting a scrap, I just hope I haven't out witted myself.

"It will be the first time since 1935 that two major-college teams will play each other in consecutive games in the same season, and the first time since 1919 that teams from the same conference will do so, according to the website footballgeography.com."

No shortage on Saturday and Sunday angles or games I like a lot this week, so I?ll definitely trust my stuff to be respectable . . . I considered bumping all the plays to 1.5 units, but instead I?ll be trying some parlays this week with some various combinations of games, including at enhanced odds.

Alabama(-7)(-125) over Georgia (1*)
- - I was a fan of HC Mark Richt from back when Georgia was trendy years ago , and I?ve stuck with him through his underachieving times more than most because of it. But giving Alabama a BIG second chance they weren?t really expecting, while rested and as singularly focused as their opponent, I have to trust my first instincts in this one.

Wisconsin(+3)(-103) over Nebraska (1*)
- - Wisconsin has given stout but unrewarded efforts against strong November squads in Ohio State and Penn State. I don?t think Nebraska is the better big game team, and Minnesota and Iowa didn?t stack the big game table very well.

West Virginia(-20)(-115) over Kansas (1*)
- - West Virginia has IMO been working their ass off to get a huge weight off their shoulder, and now do they regress or progress? What has to be a worn down Kansas "power team" goes to a tough place to play to close out this campaign, and my money says the home team is definitely boss here.

Kansas State(-10)(-119) over Texas (1*)
- - There was evidence and discussion about K-State being physically and emotionally run down by their prolonged run, and it definitely all caught up with them at Baylor. Now they figure to need the win desperately, after two weeks to get fresh and stew about an out of character performance. IMO the angle is the better team is pissed off in what is still a huge spot on Senior Day, and that should be worth the two scores for the smack down I?m looking for. And with this angle, if Oklahoma has already lost, I don?t think it much impacts the two weeks of focus already invested in coming out and answering the bell tonight . . . Of course the banged up (I believe) visitor can play lights out too for Mack Brown, or is the answer to that angle like maybe sort of the point?

TCU(+6)(-113) over Oklahoma State (1*)

- - Seems to be a popular play, and I can respect HC Gary Patterson?s squad in this November spot with their almost always improving team, and all the pressure on Oklahoma. As noted elsewhere, this is some uncharted territory, with Oklahoma and Okie State used to the Bedlam rivalry ending their seasons.

Florida State(-14) over Georgia Tech (1*)
- - I don?t know if I can trust them, but Florida State should be able to take it to Georgia Tech across the board.

I'll stick with this thread for the Bowl games . . . Definitely more Bowl matchups than usual that on first blush I definitely have ANGLES or opinions on, so I'll trust my stuff, and take closer looks in the day or so before each game, when all the INFORMATION I look to will be on the table . . .

Oregon State(-4') over Texas (1.5*)
- -

Stanford(-6) over Wisconsin (1.5*)
- -

Oregon(-8) over Kansas State (1*)
- -

Notre Dame(+9') over Alabama (1*)
- -

Georgia(-12') over Nebraska (1*)
- -

Syracuse(+7') over West Virginia (1*)
- -

LSU(-7) over Clemson (1*)
- -

Waiting for +3 (on the buy, even) on Northwestern (vs. Mississippi State), and definite early leans to Vanderbilt(-7') (vs. North Carolina State), Iowa State(-3') (vs. Tulsa), and Florida State(-13') (vs. Northern Illinois).

WOW. I like all of them. I don't play all but I like them.

Nebraska is the interesting one to me. Thought they might move this bowl game to Lincoln to give Nebraska a chance. :142smilie Actually, the old saying you are not as good or bad as your last game ?? might come into play here. They were definitely down a couple notches this year but some turnovers have a tendency to change momentum. I am still all over Georgia !

Hope you clean up the bowls, bud

I'll stick with this thread for the Bowl games . . .
Utah State(-10)(-119) over Toledo (1*)
- - A return engagement to a familiar and disappointing destination, with a significant edge on the defensive side of the ball, and HC Gary Andersen's team that has delivered all year on its high and publicly pronounced expectations, while smartly carrying my cash more than once, willl be carrying my cash once again in my Bowl season lid lifter (The kids are prepared," (Andersen) said. He also said he wants to "make sure they have fun.")
