NCAA YTD: 47-30 (+12.19*)
NFL YTD: 27-18 (+9.69*)
No shortage on Saturday and Sunday angles or games I like a lot this week, so I?ll definitely trust my stuff to be respectable . . . I considered bumping all the plays to 1.5 units, but instead I?ll be trying some parlays this week with some various combinations of games, including at enhanced odds.
Alabama(-7)(-125) over Georgia (1*)
- - I was a fan of HC Mark Richt from back when Georgia was trendy years ago , and I?ve stuck with him through his underachieving times more than most because of it. But giving Alabama a BIG second chance they weren?t really expecting, while rested and as singularly focused as their opponent, I have to trust my first instincts in this one.
Wisconsin(+3)(-103) over Nebraska (1*)
- - Wisconsin has given stout but unrewarded efforts against strong November squads in Ohio State and Penn State. I don?t think Nebraska is the better big game team, and Minnesota and Iowa didn?t stack the big game table very well.
West Virginia(-20)(-115) over Kansas (1*)
- - West Virginia has IMO been working their ass off to get a huge weight off their shoulder, and now do they regress or progress? What has to be a worn down Kansas "power team" goes to a tough place to play to close out this campaign, and my money says the home team is definitely boss here.
Kansas State(-10)(-119) over Texas (1*)
- - There was evidence and discussion about K-State being physically and emotionally run down by their prolonged run, and it definitely all caught up with them at Baylor. Now they figure to need the win desperately, after two weeks to get fresh and stew about an out of character performance. IMO the angle is the better team is pissed off in what is still a huge spot on Senior Day, and that should be worth the two scores for the smack down I?m looking for. And with this angle, if Oklahoma has already lost, I don?t think it much impacts the two weeks of focus already invested in coming out and answering the bell tonight . . . Of course the banged up (I believe) visitor can play lights out too for Mack Brown, or is the answer to that angle like maybe sort of the point?
TCU(+6)(-113) over Oklahoma State (1*)
- - Seems to be a popular play, and I can respect HC Gary Patterson?s squad in this November spot with their almost always improving team, and all the pressure on Oklahoma. As noted elsewhere, this is some uncharted territory, with Oklahoma and Okie State used to the Bedlam rivalry ending their seasons.
Florida State(-14) over Georgia Tech (1*)
- - I don?t know if I can trust them, but Florida State should be able to take it to Georgia Tech across the board.
