My first four picks for today may all lose, but I know I won't regret any of them as dumb and/or unfounded and/or on teams I know little or nothing about. NCAA Yesterday: 12-7-1 (+4.18*)

NCAA YTD: 25-18 (+4.99*)

20 plays yesterday! In 14 seasons of posting plays, I'd never before posted more than 13 plays in one day, and usually post only 3 to 9 plays per NCAA weekend. I just felt like I had a solid read on game after game.

By my count, I was on the right side of 5 games which were never in doubt (Marshall, Auburn, Ohio State, Miss St, and Tenn Under), and only way off base on 1 game (Wisc). I'm very pleased with those numbers.

It would have been a sensational day if Michigan State hadn't let one get away at the end, instead it was mostly just a long and nervous day filled with TV and scoreboard watching, while gaining (I'm pretty sure) INFORMATION and ANGLES for future weeks, in which I will be (I'm dead certain) far more selective in pulling my trigger finger . . . But on to the NFL today, where I know Brady, Belichick and New England won't be carrying my cash for a bounce back shocker against Cincinnati.
