Between Green Bay and Iowa City
Pittsburgh(-5') over San Francisco (1*)
- - Textbook spot, except it's only week 2 instead of week 5 or 8 or 10.

Arizona(-1') over Chicago (1*)
- -

Atlanta(+3)(-135) over New York Giants (1*)
- -

New Orleans(-9) over Tampa Bay (1*)
- -

Buffalo(-1) over New England (1*)
- -

Green Bay(-3)(-126) over Seattle (1 Biscuit)
- - If Green Bay is reasonably successful in getting a handle on and their hands on Russell Wilson and his aerials, then the Packers prevail. If Wilson is elusive early and often, then this is decided with a final possession.

NFLX: 0-1 (-1.10*)

Seattle(-14') over Chicago (1.5*)
- - Seattle is in a must win situation and will not be fumbling about with half measures this week as they look to get their season forcefully launched. The visitor will be stepping into the toughest environment in the NFL. I know I would lay at least 18 points in this matchup of the Christians vs. the lions, with Cutler at QB or without, and that is probably not my ceiling.

Atlanta(-4') over Houston (0.5*)
- - Definitely adding 1/2 unit. Result will now be in the Top Play tally unless the outcome falls at -5.

Dallas(+3)(+102) over New Orleans (1*)
- -

Chicago(+3)(+103) over Oakland (1*)
- - Chicago was a mess last year. Tell me I'm wrong, but I've more or less given good marks to everything I've seen from HC Fox and his staff from Day 1 as they do what they can to turn a pig into a purse, with the only exception being how they couldn't respond in the moment when Cutler went out against Arizona. IMO, definitely a spot for a live dog to finally earn a taste of a reward.

Seattle(-9') over Detroit (1*)
- - I believe Seattle was 13-1 SU in prime time games under Pete Carroll before getting roughed up against the Packers, and I believe the Seahawks haven't had a Monday night game at home since 2013, so they should be attentive as a one win and two loss host . . . Not a play I feel strongly about because of the impost and because Seattle is still showing a few issues of their own, but a trip to Seattle is never a good ask for a team grasping to turn things around, and HC Jim Caldwell won't carry my cash tonight as the answer man for being an exception to the rule.

Kansas City(-9)(-114) over Chicago (1*)
- - Last week I was quite confident the Bears were a live dog. One week on, and my cash knows which matchups and intangibles it will be riding with in this game.

Baltimore(-6) over Cleveland (1*)
- - Extra rest vs. back to back road trips; after the well led Ravens broke through after a string of tough losses, this home game against the Brownies doesn't seem a spot for a favoring a big reversal in recent trends.

New York Giants(-7)(-125) over San Francisco (1*)
- -

Detroit(+4) over Arizona (1*)
- -

Tampa Bay(-1) over Jacksonville (1*)
- - Jacksonville getting a third straight road game off an OT loss is an elephant size reason for not backing the visitor, while IMO the drought of success at home for HC Lovie Smith and QB Jameis Winston is strangely a reason for liking Tampa before their bye.

Buffalo(-1) over Tennessee (1*)
- -
