- - I've got a good feeling about underrated Colorado being on point this week.
- - Trust your stuff.

TCU(-24) over Iowa State (1*)
- - Not a good spot for Iowa State.
- - Not a good spot for a bad Iowa State team.

Michigan State(+7') over Notre Dame (1*)
- -

Alabama(-11) over Mississippi (1*)
- - Alabama, right now, with revenge, looks to me set to get the job done.

Penn State(-8') over Temple (1.5*)
- - At the start of the season I expected James Franklin's team to slightly disappoint, and had no opinion on Temple. Two weeks in and I don't see Temple keeping up in this one, or know why they should.

Iowa(-16??) over North Dakota State (1.5*)
- - Still waiting for a number, but I need to be some place. There would be times when I might expect this visitor to give the Hawkeyes a lot of trouble. Maybe last year on the way to their 5th straight title. But I don't see the 5 time champs surging into Kinnick off back to back overtime games to impress the nation today.

Kansas State(-24') over Florida Atlantic (1*)
- - My remaining leans that I should look at closer if time allowed are Kansas State(-24'), Illinois(+3), Washington State(-27), Oregon(+3), Stanford(-7'), Georgia Tech(-6'), Louisville(-1), Utah(-13) and UCLA(-3). But for now I'll just make it Kansas State.

It's -14' on Iowa.

Iowa(-14) over Rutgers (1*)
- - Suddenly, so many questions . . . After a drubbing of ISU was a pretty good spot for taking on Iowa, and NDSU proved themselves a very good team. This week is not a pretty good spot for getting after Iowa, and Rutgers will not prove themselves a good team.

Michigan State(-3)(-129) over Wisconsin (1*)

smax -

Last year the identity was about finishing plays, finishing drives, finishing games, finishing seasons . . . So far this year it seems to be all about getting run over on defense and and getting Beathard slammed around on offense. Not a pretty formula.
