NFL YTD: 0-0 (+0.00*)

Atlanta(-1) over Philadelphia (1*)
- - (1) My capping starts with the intangible and situational factors favoring Atlanta, and I'll be a loser if that take is crap. (2) I should have bet this game a week ago. (3) Winning on 3rd downs will be huge for Atlanta's fortunes, other aspects will follow.

Carolina(-3)(+100) over Dallas (1*)
- - The better team with better coaching getting a favorable line in their home opener.

Cincinnati(Pk) over Indianapolis (1*)
- - I should have bet this game earlier. Andrew Luck 1.0 would have to cover a lot of deficiencies, I have yet to see Andrew Luck 2.0 earn that kind of stature.

Houston(+6) over New England (1*)
- - Texans playing from a city of substantial narratives will produce numerous chances to win this game, and of course that includes late. I don?t want just a cover.

New Orleans(-10) over Tampa Bay (1*)
- - A bad spot for Fitzpatrick as a caretaker QB.

Denver(-3) over Seattle (1*)
- - Case Keenum is a desperately needed upgrade at QB. I like the old look Broncos opening at altitude against the new look Seahawks.

San Diego(-3') over Kansas City (1*)
Baltimore(-8) over Buffalo (1*)

- - I liked these sides on both these games, and any reluctance to pull the trigger is overcome with this technical trend:
week 1 NFL
week 1 play against week 1 road dogs KO'd from playoffs early LY (7-27 ATS, against KC and BUF)
- tightener = if dog of 3+ with total>37 (1-21 ATS, against KC and BUF)
Maybe two new Qbs shatter that trend by going 2-0, but don?t wager if you are not going to trust your capping.

Chicago(+7)(-115) over Green Bay (1Biscuit)
- - https://cheeseheadtv.com/blog/peopl...ogs-135?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter
Lots to like about the Packers (Rogers with an embarrassment of riches at TE is huge with his inexperienced WRs), but some things to like about the Bears, too.

Cleveland(+3') over Pittsburgh (1*)
- - I know I shouldn?t, especially under Keystone Cop conditions, but it is what it is.

Minnesota(-5') over San Francisco (1*)
- - Line is inflated, but I?m not sold on San Francisco as anything better than a 9-7 team moving in the right direction that likely goes 7-9 without some breaks.

Houston(Ov21')(-115) v. New England
- - My favorite total.

Los Angeles Chargers(-7)(-115) over Buffalo (1*)
- - My capping says even the situation is pretty poor for Buffalo.

San Francisco(-6) over Detroit (1*)
- - Coaching and chemistry are being undervalued in this game.

Atlanta(-6) over Carolina (1*)
- - Atlanta will play a good game. They should win and cover, but they will probably make hard work of both.

New Orleans(-9)(-115) over Cleveland (1*)
- -

Houston(-3)(-120) over Tennessee (1*)
- - The moment was too big for Houston last week. I expect that today they clean up much of their brain dead play from last week, and perhaps they earn a big scalp in a divisional road game.

Green Bay(+2) over Minnesota (1 Biscuit)
- - With Rodgers taking snaps, nothing has changed since the schedule came out in April to change my belief that Green Bay will not leave the field today chasing Minnesota in the standings.

Los Angeles Rams(-13) over Arizona (1*)
- - Rams are showing a Super Bowl look early, which is bad news for Arizona, but they lack the seasoning to be anything but seriously in the mix come January.

Oakland(+6') over Denver (1*)
- - I really feel like I'm all alone in taking Oakland, which is a fairly rare feeling for my NFL plays.

Philadelphia/Tampa Bay(Ov46') (1*)
- - The lousy total play I like best, leaving New Orleans(Ov 49') and Indianapolis(+6) off my card.

Cheers! :0008

New England(-6') over Detroit (1*)
- -

Green Bay(-2') over Washington (1 Biscuit)
- - Nothing favorable about heading on the road after back to back divisional games; a case could be made that both those games featured some supreme efforts for their hobbled GOAT. But I expect Green Bay to take a September step here toward being an elite team.

Minnesota(-16) over Buffalo (1*)
- -

New Orleans/Atlanta(Ov53')
- - The probably lousy total play I like best.

Oakland(+3) over Miami (1*)

Kansas City(-5') over San Francisco (1*)
