- - 4-1 in the early games is a decent feel for Week #17 . . . so far. But now I "need" to make picks in probably the two biggest games on the board this week, and they are probably my two least confident picks for the day.

Lost you know you don?t have to play EVERY game.

With a 78-61 record heading into this week, I don't.

On the other hand, I have made a play and posted a play on every NFL postseason game since 2001, and I will continue to do so until 2051, God willing. In that vein, I "need" to make picks today in what are probably the two most impactful postseason games on the board.

- - My top two plays were losers, and at 9-2 for the day I'm one win away from something like my third, fourth or fifth best NFL week ever. Go figure. The likely way to figure it is this wager is a loser . . . I pretty much liked Baltimore to avenge last season and win and advance, but I stuck my neck out on Cleveland to cover. I really like Luck and the Colts to win and advance, but I think this line is kind of wacked, but I'm not going against the team I think prevails. Maybe they tie and Pittsburgh is thrilled.

2018 NFL Regular Season YTD: 88-63 (+19.74*)

10-2 for the week. I know my best NFL or NCAA weeks ever are 11-2, 9-1 and (sadly, only) 6-0, so one of my best weeks ever. I was so very tempted to go with Indy(-2') for the second half because it would have been a chance to match my previous 11-2, and also because it pretty definitely looked like a good wager, and for absolutely no good reason I chickened out.

Definitely finished with my best ever NFL season, but disappointed after I did the math to find out it is only 58.3%.

Sorry to say good-bye to this First and Ten thread, but it's on to 12 Teams - 1 Trophy.

Early leans to Indianapolis(+2'), Chicago(-5'), Baltimore(-2') and Seattle(+2'), but would definitely buy those plays to +3.
