- - Rams vs. Tamp Bay is the only game this weekend that has me going back and forth.
Simply put, this is the playoffs, after a 17 game season, and my trigger finger is in the prediction business, not scouring or sweating over a point or two of line value, or giving a damn about being sharp or contrarian.
Tennessee(-3)(-134) over Cincinnati (1*)
- - Could Tennessee be the worst #1 seed in close to forever? No. Would #4 Cincinnati be the worst #1 seed in close to forever? Yes.
The thing that stands out to me with Tennessee is the buttoned up identity they played with in their biggest games. The thing that stands out to me with Cincinnati were a second year QB and a rookie WR dazzling the NFL with joyful aerial displays.
Newly emerging Cincinnati is coming off the elation of busting down the door with a historic playoff win for a couple generations of suffering Bengals fans, especially nice after the once in a couple generations Bearcats bowed out quickly. Tennessee IMO has been stoking confidence and not nerves while waiting for their opportunity. Simply put, HC Mike Vrabel has palpable advantages over HC Zac Taylor in this matchup, and I expect it will show.
