In the early games, Tennessee covers by 23, Vanderbilt covers by 20, Purdue covers by 13. LSU fails to cover by 1, Indiana fails to cover by 2, Michigan State gives up a TD at the end on 4th and 28 and fails to cover by 4.

- -- - I was definitely leaning to Louisville, then I went capping. This is at least the third season in a row in which Cinci has thrived on making big plays on offense AND defense AND special teams, overcoming some excessive penalties and lulls and lapses. Seeing how attrition and patchwork is likely to impact this matchup, I see those big plays being crucial and still residing with the Bearcats.
