First goal!!

My 4 year old scored his first soccer goal in yesterday's game. It was pretty cool, but his reaction was unbelievably incredible to me. His face was complete elation and pride!

It was absolutely one of the greatest moments of my life to see my son that happy. I look forward to more moments like that.

Great story Dawg...congrats!!!! I had the same thing happen last week with my son in 7th grade. Had his first game of soccer where he actually "plays" for his school. He is on the 7th and 8th team, scored the first goal of the season for St. Francis and they won 1-0. Funny thing was the next day, he was caught off guard when the announcements over the daily school events told the score and who scored. He was beaming from ear to ear when he came home last Friday. Cool moments indeed.
