Sun Belt games on national TV...Two real aggressive defenses,2 real good qb's and good rb's.Ark plays an uptempo,complex offense.Alpin the qb has 5,000 yds and can run with the ball.Ark has a big offensive line and plays 4 rb's.Ark rush defense hasn't let anyone get over 100yds including Rainey of WKU and Vir techs back...
FIU started out fast,slowed down and are back on track.Carrol is a solid qb,and Rhodes and Perry are good Rb's.Good OL and TY the WR who does everything.Carrol sat out a game they lost and TY has been hurting> Both are 100% and that will be a problem for Ark.Ty Hilton is an impact player..he'll punt return,run the ball on a reverse,kickoff return and catch the ball down field...these are the 2 best defensive teams in the conf...Ark is 2-0 in conf where FIU is 1-1..Ark at home is 26-7 the past 6 yrs.Both teams can score and both teams can play defense...Ty on national TV will make the difference...

Wesley Carroll is a horrible QB. Hugh Feeze is an awesome coach. I don't have a beat on the game but Arky is going to air it out

over-under is 54....that is a hard call...lean on over but both defenses are tough...last yr FIU won 31-24 at home..at Ark the yr before Ark won 27-10,@ FIU 22-21.....trends on over and under a re hard to read...I can find 10 that says its over and another 10 its under...will pass on over-under...really think this will be an exciting game to watch...Ty is a No 1 draft pick and Ark will do everything to stop him..but think he will break looses for a couple of Td's......GL

Woulda loved to have gotten that hook, but I don't think it matters. Real impressed with what Cristobal's done with the FIU program. Another national spotlight game should have TY stealing the show.

Not sure how the field conditions will effect the game.Alpin has the advantage being a dual threat qb where Carrol is a pocket passer.But Alpin has only 6 td's and 8 ints.
Ark has been inconsistent..They just beat UL Monroe last week.That had a lot of turnovers and penalties.They just beat WKU the week before...think FIU is back on track.
And if the field conditions are bad with Ty playing there is and old saying" take the stud in the mud".The saying is so old I made it up a few minutes ago.:mj07:

what a terrible game..I was way off..sorry...Ty was not a factor in the game at all....and they didn't even go to him esp. in the 2nd half..I know he was hurt but not enough to not to use him....ugly game on both sides but if you had Ark St who cares if its ugly or not...my bad..
