Nice job chucking it down the field trying for a miracle on 3rd and 2after you just burned a timeout, you have acres of space to run for the first down and you desperately need to keep the drive alive.

I don't understand why people bash Flacco. He's been as consistent as anyone for 5+ years. Nobody's perfect all the time.

Flacco may be a lot of things, but consistent is not the first adjective that leaps to mind.

He should buy his defense some shiny things for pulling his bacon out of the fire today.

How many QB's more consistent than him? Maybe 5 at most?

He is a good quarterback, but he makes way too much money. He makes too many errors for how many years he has been in the league and the amount of money he makes. Just because you make the playoffs doesn't mean you are a good QB. Any QB would have done the same with those defenses.

regadless of who flacco is or isn't, I dislike the argument "anyone would have made the playoffs with those defenses"

1. All QB's that are in consistent organizations and always in playoffs have talent surrounding them. almost all playoff teams have good defenses....russ Wilson, brady, etc. you cannot say they are not good because they have talent around them

2. There are teams with good defenses that do not make the playoffs.....The QB still has to make play and score.....I know flacco has won many games in the 20's and 30's.......regardless how good a defense is, the QB is the single most important position in the game

3. he has done it in roger goodell's NFL....I don't care what talent and who surronds you on Defense.........If you do not score points in this league with your offense you will not win.......Flacco put up 30+ in a superbowl in a game vs. the #1 defense while his defense allowed 30 themselves

either way I agree flaccos is paid way to much........all nfl playersare......but I do no think he has rode anyone coattails to get to the level and success he has gotten to

I know one thing that's very consistent; there are multiple posts week after week after week with Hashish whining like a little bitch when things don't go his way.

Try taking your own advice and quit acting like a spoiled teenage girl. Fucking hypocrite.

How many of these whiny badbeat threads do you start every week anyway? Seems like it happens at least once or twice a day?

Flacco is mediocre. Makes way to many terrible decisions. For example, this year, with 10 seconds left in the half and no time outs left, and the ball inside the 10-yd line, he holds the ball way too long and gets sacked. Clock runs out and they get 0 points.

That is it exactly. He is an average QB. People like to put him in an elite category with QBs like Peyton, Brady, Brees, Luck and Rodgers. In reality, he is more on par with QBs like Romo, Cutler, Dalton, Ryan, Stafford, the list goes on and on. The true superstar QBs are very rare, and Flacco does not belong in the discussion or pay grade as they do.

nobody ever said flacco was an elite qb...he`s a tier below the best guys but he`s a very good playoff qb...

I know that loss still hurts me, but seeing Flacco definitely doesn't make me nervous in any way EVER...unless it's on days like today when I bet the Ravens...
