i follow alot of the guys on here and never dog many, and i'm not dogging you for your opinion as it can never be wrong, But it did'nt sit well with this huge raider fan that you were trying to convince people out there or maybe just yourself that oaklands running game was better than the packers. Sorry i was bold in disagreeing with you but i wander what you were looking at to tell everyone this. Raiders on the road is silly to bet and and statistics alone never tell the story. I have watched every Raider game and they have NO RUSHING game. Today they lit up that terrible indy line with a blistering 13 rushes for a prolific 53 yards. If you want to know my feelings on any raider games i will tell you how it is, just ask. I did agree with you on the Baltimore pick. I enjoy reading your info, and not hammering you in any way. but i will add to anything i disagree with and hopefully you can take it in good faith and when its all said and done it can make us stronger players.. Good luck next week fletch.

sometimes, the best advice and the best winners come from the money saved by NOT playing a game. im glad i didnt touch texas. im not the kind of capper that can like one side, but then completely reverse tracks and play the other side. ill just pass the game and not think twice about it. which is what i did on oklahoma/texas. leaned horns, but passed (and am glad i did).

sorry about cmichigan. do, however, keep an eye out for them. they did a ton of good things on offense. had 400+ yards (200+ on the ground) and would have had almost 500 had a 70yd play not been called back. they are going to be really good soon. they are just too young on defense right now and get worn down.

btw- nice call on minny. quite frankly, they deserved to win and i hate seeing deserving dogs lose in the waning seconds.

arrow as ive told you before you da man when it comes to capping. Ive been playing poker and betting football with this guy for 2 years now and he does hit about 80% of his raider plays. Ive told him he should start a weekly colum with his insight on the raiders here at madjacks. Although he sounds like a prick half the time in posts and kind of in this one he is just very opinionated and knows his stuff, and i dont think he wants to start a war of words here. Anytime you can get him in a poker game he is pretty easy money though.

you may be right about the raiders, but your wrong in using the colts game as an example.they were down all game and in comeback mode what kind of rushing numbers did you expect.4.1 yds per cary for amous z is pretty good, thats another way you can look at those #s.

Actually, I reckon you are meaning me as saying Oakland had a better running game than GB.
Why did I have to convince people?? Huh? Why would I try to convince people of anything? We all have minds of our own, I was just pointing out something that I saw as an advantage to one side. You don?t agree, fine!

You?re right, sometimes stats don?t tell the true story, but when one team av. 4.0 ypc, and another averages 4.6 for the same yardage a game you tell me what constitutes a running game and what doesn?t.
20 rushes for 151 yards last week not a running game?
173 from 31 in Wk. 3 not so good?

As for today?...How do you establish a running game when you go 14-0 down?...Actually that?s not entirely true, because we watched Balti do it tonight?how many coaches try tho?

Firstly, Oakland didn?t get the ball until 8.50 left in the first. 7-0 down.

(8:50) A.Zereoue left tackle to OAK 44 for 3 yards (R.Morris, C.June).
Pass
Pass
Pass
(7:04) A.Zereoue up the middle to IND 40 for 5 yards (R.Morris, I.Bashir).
Pass

(3:47) A.Zereoue right end to OAK 39 for 12 yards (C.Bird, I.Bashir).
(3:18) A.Zereoue up the middle to OAK 41 for 2 yards (N.Harper).
Sack
Delay of game
Pass

2 minutes into the second it?s 14-0.

Pass
(12:46) A.Zereoue up the middle to OAK 44 for 4 yards (L.Tripplett).
Pass
Pass
(11:01) A.Zereoue up the middle to IND 31 for 5 yards (I.Bashir).
Pass
(9:51) A.Zereoue right end to IND 7 for no gain (C.Bird, N.Harper).
Pass
(8:59) J.Fargas up the middle for 1 yard, TOUCHDOWN.

2.22 left in the half 21-7 down

Pass
Pass
Pass
Pass
Pass
Sack
Pass
Punt

21-7 HT

Pass
Pass
(13:38) A.Zereoue right tackle for 56 yards, TOUCHDOWN NULLIFIED by Penalty. PENALTY on OAK-F.Middleton, Offensive Holding, 10 yards, enforced at OAK 44 - No Play.

Oakland proceed to throw the ball 30 of the next 35 plays!!!

The 5 running plays went 7, 6, 3, 0 and 5 yards.

If you?re telling me the coaching staff are too stupid to work harder at establish a running game, then fine. Looks like that is absolutely true.
But, there is nothing wrong with the O-line or RB?s?they get the job done when they get the opportunity.

Oh, and for the record, I didn?t play Oakland in the end?.and you didn?t play Indi, so don?t start this ?I?m a fan so I know them inside out? bullshit!

all i have to say about the raiders is.......

GOOOOO BRONCOS!!!!

Kerry Collins needs to start drinking again, being on the wagon obviously isnt cutting it! He is one of the least mobile QB's in the league, and has proven he has lost his vision entirely. I bet on the Raiders last weekend and I watched his gay ass turn over the ball 5 times. I plan on fading the Raiders until Gannon comes back.

MY GOY is next week

BRONCOS -1.5!!!!

g, i really don't follow that conference much except with n.ill and marshall. Any good advice on this conference or stronger games fill free to fill me in on. Try to crush the Big ten games as i have some friends in say nice places around the conferences through cards and coaching buddies. This week hammered Indiana under the total which got scary at the end. Mich St. which made it allot closer than it should of been and one of my games of the week in Minnesota in which i spent the last eleven days in minneapolis. I spend most of my evenings capping this conference the big twelve and some of the major games in which i look for teams offensive best versus oppenants defensive best. this is one of my major stats, canceling each other out and what or whom has the best of the rest. One game i hammered was UTEP versus Fresno. The lines have not caught up to this team, but i have allot of contacts in around albuquerque and closeness too and get good info on the wac games in which i covered for 9 years while living in albuquerque New Mexico. I won't say much to anyone unless i really feel there misleading people or giving out wrong info. I am a little concerned about the delays and time of getting through to this site and feel a charge would reduce the lookers and allow us to put info up for everyone to see. I get mad sometimes about that. You can talk to me almost anynight on here as i'm studing right now the games for next week as the most important lines are coming out tommorrow. Talk soon. arrow

think about what your saying, you did'nt think Oakland would be behind, lol what you thought Oakland would be ahead on the road at Indy. Oakland has had several long runs already this season and that skews the average yard per carry. thatsm what i mean about misleading. Do you know what Oakland's ATS record on the road is and there rushing statistics on the road? Thats why i'm laughing. I'm just telling you like i did before the game Indy is the play and the raiders running sucks. I knew the rushing game of the raiders would not come into play as the spread tells you there going to be playing from behind FACT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!thats all let it be there will be another game next week and besides it was just your opinion, but good luck with the raiders on the road in the future.

If it was so damn obvious, why didn't you play Indi?
You didn't, so why comment?

My comment was simply that Oakland have statistically (there is that better?), a better running game than GB.

Intersting comparison v. Indi:
GB ran for 74 yards @ 3.9 ypc.
Oak ran for 53 @ 4.0.

Poor coaching....But there seems to be an epidemic of that in the league atm.

jewbacca....Agree. Really like Denver -2 this week....But Minni -3 @ No has to be the stand out!! :drinky:

EDIT: And what?? They are going to be playing from behind because the spread tells you?
In that case there's no way Detroit runs it more than they pass is there?....Esp after going 7-0 down on the road! ;)

Fletcher or MrChristo, explain the two to me please, i'm writing to one and the other is answering. Is one a service name ?Did'nt someone tell me once that one of them names has a service, sorry i don't know or ever follow. But which ever one you are and you don't understand my position that saying the raiders would'nt have allot of rushing yards because the spread tells me they"re going to be playing from behind tells me i don't want to follow either one of you. Wake up and get over it. You were wrong, I was right and your backtracking like a little kid because someone told you your full of shit. GET OVER IT, BE A MAN , NONE OF US ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. ITS OK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!MOVE ON, you can't take a little constructive criticism, your in the wrong business then. Because i want people to tell me when I'm wrong so i can redo the numbers. called checks and balances. good luck though!

I've now got NO idea what you are on about.

I'm not answering for fletcher, I'm answering for me!

Not sure who the little kid is.

How am I backtracking? I've said what I said about 4 times now!!...And what's more. sticking to it!!
Oakland have better ypc than GB. FACT.
Oakland had better ypc v. Indi than GB. FACT.

You were right?...Why?...Because you SAID Indi would cover, but yet didn't play them?

Well I said NYG would cover, so you were wrong!!

(Now obviously I'm being totally sarcastic now!!...But it does seem the level you would best understand.)

It's 2.30am (??), you've had a couple too many? You better hope GB have a monster game on the ground Monday night....because you know what to expect if they don't. ;)

The things I do for 5 minutes of entertainment, eh?

Not trying to talk shit but OMFG! I dont know about you needing to redo the numbers but you certainly need to redo the letters. Your last paragraph is completely unintelligible. I think your point would be better received if you didnt mangle the english language worse then patrick ewings face. Before you go and freak out and call people little kids for stating their opinion maybe you should consider not typing like one. JMO

I will agree that the Packers running game is much stronger then the Raiders no matter what the stats say.

and you can say all you want and i hope you do take notice tomorrow night, as green bays rushing production is far better than the raiders and i don't care what you think, as i know both these teams inside and out.and i will take it a step farther and bet you say a friendly bet of 500.00 that green Bay will rush for at least a century mark tomorrow night. let me know so we can make arrangements for you to get me the money.lol. good night boneheads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

its all good, just do us both a favor and try and make more sense when you type so its easier to read. lol

IMO if mike flanagan didnt get hurt the pack would have one of the best offensive lines in all of football. that combined with ahman green translates into potentially one of the best running games in football, period.

I'm not for one second suggesting that they won't hit the tonne v. Tenn.

Hey, good luck on GB -3 (I believe you've played?)...but do us a(nother) favour, and try to refrain from starting up a thread blasting about 'how right you were' after the event tho, huh?
