FLORIDA STATE ?1 - The Swamp has been a difficult place for visiting teams over the years, but this season, the Gators have actually played better on the road than at home. They already lost here to Tennessee and Mississippi, and I feel that Florida State will be the best team they have faced all year. The Noles have traveled well, going 4-1 S/U on the road while winning by an average of 22.4 points. They will also be anxious to wash away the bitter taste of their last road effort, which was their only road loss at Clemson. While the Florida defense has played surprisingly well, they are now facing a balanced Seminoles attack that is averaging 135.3 rushing yards and 286.6 passing yards per game. On the other side of the ball, the Florida State defense is one of the best in the country, allowed 15.2 points per game on just 3.1 yards per rush and a microscopic 6.0 yards per pass attempt. I simply feel that while the Gators have bounced back well from their terrible start, Florida State just has too many weapons on both offense and defense for Florida to contain.
