Hudson Valley area.....NY
Air force -3.5 over Army ******
AF -2.5 over Army *****
I played this game on Monday and Tuesday thinking this line will go up to about -4.5 or -5.....but instead last night it dropped to -2.5...so I played it at both...don't understand why the drop but it doesn't make a difference....
AF has dominated this series winning 22 of the last 25...also dominated the ATS spreads...other then 2 yrs ago where Army won by 20 the Flyboys have had Armys number...last yr 42-28...
AF has a solid Qb in Pearson...he can run like a fullback and halfback...and he can throw...when AF beat Navy this year he threw for over 200 yds...they have solid wr's so when Army trys to stop the running game their defense will pay a price...just like Navy tried to do...a lot of play action...AF runs the triple but they also run different sets when they run....Owens is a threat at rb with over 700 yds{ 23rd in the country]...AF OL is solid...defense is much better then last yr and they play tougher teams that Army has seen...
Army is in trouble..they lost to 0-6 Kent last week...
Santiago is back at Qb today...he can run option better but can't pass...he is also terrible about reading the pitches...he holds the ball to much and gets some yds but his halfbacks are open..he is a terrible passer...teams put everyone in the box...they stop Dixon and co and let Santiago keep the ball...
Army defense is bad...they have given up almost 40 pts in their last couple of games..Army cannot stop 3rd downs..think they lead the country....
One of the biggest problems is Army is always playing from behind..its catch up football...and when you run option your taking up so much time on the clock you start to press... that causes penalties...unreal...

AF has a lot to play for today.. The Commander in Chief trophy is on the line...if AF wins today they are the champs..
Think Army will have a tough time on defense stopping Pearson and Owens...they will be playing from behind..and AF wins this by 2 or 3 td's..
On another note Army last week hit the national news with its recruiting trip to the palisades mall...recruits were drinking.....their dates were players from the womans basketball and volleyball teams.. I wonder if the Oklahoma's and Alabama's use their female sports stars to recruit...this happened last spring and it was hushed up it leaked....guess where the leak came out of...Colorado Springs,Col....a little irony in that I think...both schools hate each other....

I'm going to the game that starts at 11.30 am ...one of my former students is a senior at West Point..he invited me as one of his guests...its a little over cast with possible light rain....temp in the mid 40's

Baylor -35 **
Wisky -13.5 **
UL laf -7 **
ECU -7 **
overall
33-39 +8 *'s
Won last week with Rice big and got killed on all the others...
