kickserv - You were so right, if Cechmanek keeps playing like this we might see Esche in soon. Terrible first period and it was something I mentioned that I was a little worried about, but after that it really looked like Philly had a long series with the Leafs. The Flyers stopped skating and the Sens showed how fresh they were and continously blew by the Philly defense. That Hossa goal is one of the best goals all year! Thank you to the Leafs for making Philly feel a long 7 game series. Well, one game in the bank but this will still be a long series.

philly took advantage of ottawa being rusty, but ottawa came back and stuck it to them.

nice call Horns, only thing saved me was that I had the over big. :grins:
dont think we will see esche this series. Roman overplayed alot 2nite, got caught a few times goin side to side, but the sens couldnt put it home on those chances.
those goals were not all his fault, again.
1st goal - shot deflected off brashear's stick and Johnsson's skate.
2nd goal - no defense around the net, rebound just sittin there waitin to be slammed home. reminded me of the leafs goal in game 6 to win in OT. Kim Johnnson standing around holding his jimmie.
3rd goal - questionable penalty on Weino for "roughing", but great play by Alfredson. He watied until his player and Yushkevitch were screening Roman before he ripped it.
4th goal - again, sens pressure in the zone, guyz all around the net, and it goes in off of Chech's leg.
I bet all you guyz buttholes puckered when it was 2 - 0. :grins:

sens d ahut down any comeback, Leclair, JR, PRimes, Rex, etc...
game 2 sunday nite, gonna go watch wild/knucks game.

cross the blueline.......shoot the puck....get the rebound...score the goal.........pretty easy huh
don't worry Horns......won't have to sweat this one out......this series isn't even in doubt..........man....Leaf players should be ashamed of themselves
Aces.........I know we go back and forth but you need to get your head outta your ass.......you trying to tell me none of those goals are Roman's fault.......the fourth goal was pathetic......the guy can't even stand up.....it's called positioning.....the puck wouldn't have hit his leg and went in if he knew how to stand up.....and here's a hint..........not supposed to give up juicy rebounds on every third shot.........can you imagine the Sens woke up in the first period
Flyers are going to get pummeled..........if they had a goalie.......then things would be different.........finally Roman will see just how bad he really is........and by the way....the most important thing a goalie has to do is keep his team in the game.....Roman needs to look that up.........giving up that 4th goal was pathetic.........guy will never....and I mean never steal a game in this series......he's just nnot that good.........

Played it for more later on but will only post a 1 unit win.
2-0 on my Eastern Conference plays and hit both winnaaas with the exact games for each series........Ott. in 6 & NJ in 5. My Western Conference plays don't look so good right now.
I will post a Devils/Sens preview later on in the week.

I don't know how the Devils are gonna score consistently against LaLime and the Sens D, while I can think of many ways for the Sens to score against the Devils. Plus this team still can't score on the PP. Ottawa is a big step up from TB and Bos, and maybe a little rust will set into NJ for the little time off, also. I'll be on the Sens BIG for the series will you.
Quacks vs Sens for the Cup?? LOL. Most likely the Nucks, but it sure would be interesting if Giggy plays like Roy and makes it to the finals.

ddubs - You made some great points, I will add to those later but I agree the Sens win this series against NJ as well, no two ways about it! Love the slogan!!!
